Before now to get your certificate from UNICAL is like climbing mount. Everest; difficult and time consuming! Just as them clearing students for NYSC was as hard as finding diamonds. They're trying to change but they still haven't changed on the issue of transcript. After frustrating majority of those people from collecting their certificates due to the stress involved and they abandoned it for them, they're now begging them to come and collect them. Post it, lets check whether our Fathers, Mother's and Uncles and Auntys certificates are there so we can tell them.

Crazy University. A University that frustrates their graduates so much, so many after writing their final exams waited for more than 5 years to get the school to start processing their certificates, some have died during the frustration, some simply moved on to trade or started another course in another institution. Now Unical wonders why they have these much certificates at their registry. I pray that God will deal mercilessly with those who think they are sitting on other people's destiny.

There should be easier way to either posting it to people or making it ready immediately after payment for collection. In some schools like AAU, you may go there and spend a week or more trying to collect it with too many frustrating protocols and for someone who is working/hustling it might be very difficult to squeeze out such time.

A lot of people are just tired. They don't have time for the stress. I almost got into a physical fist fight with the punk at the registrars office in my alma mata just because I came for my cert. The mumu man wanted to extort me telling me my cert was missing. I just created a scene at the office, registrar and everybody had to come out. My certificate came out after spending money for hotel and transportation. At the end of the day, my skills now pay my bills not even the cert...smh.

It doesn't cost me a dime to collect my Masters certificate on the day of my graduation here in USA. I don't know what's their problem on Nigeria.
