You either pay for courier while booking for your biometrics or you pay via pos on the day of your biometrics.

You apply to a school, they grant you a conditional offer letter.

You make your deposit and then two things happen, some schools do not require bank statement before issuing CAS while some do.

So it's best to always know the application pattern of the uni you intend applying to as this will help you in planning when to start your 28day count.

If the school doesn't require POF before CAS, then start counting way ahead so that as soon as you get your CAS, the one month bank statement would have been ready and then proceed with your visa application.

You can start your POF count at anytime, it's all about knowing your own timeline.

1. Bournemouth University - MSc Management with Business Analytics - with placement
OR
2. University of East Anglia - MSc Business Management - without placement

At the moment, I strongly advice against this as you’ll need to apply for an air port transit visa even if you’re not stepping out of the airport. This can’t be done online so you have to use VFS and go for biometrics.
It’s not worth it (my opinion) I booked virgin. BA is a good option as well.

If your documents are ready to collect CAS go ahead and collect your CAS when your new passport comes out, attach the two together when submitting at the embassy they will see the old passport number and the new one so they will place the visa sticker on the new passport since the old one has expired. Make sure both passport is attached when submitting at the embassy.

@ Justwise and those who have filled child dependent visa, pls help answer I beg. Since the child is using the mother’s bank statement, a consent form was downloaded from the child’s application. Will the 3 parts of the consent be filled and signed by the mother?

Good evening house I applied for a masters program and my pgd certificate is not ready but I have uploaded my statement of result and transcript in place of the certificate as the condition do I need to worry about my cert.

You can start counting before CAS is issued especially if your school requires proof of funds to issue CAS, if your school doesn't require proof of funds to issue CAS, then you can start counting as soon as you get cas, but that way, you will waste precious time, so my advice for you is to Lodge funds and start counting 28 days while you're yet to get cash, as for me, as soon as your tuition fee deposit is confirmed, move on to deposit and start counting for 28 days POF

The mother will sign the consent for use of funds for the child.

While another consent letter for visa application, travel to UK and the arrangement for the child living in the UK will be signed by both parents except u re a single parent.
