You can study in Jamaica for as little as 1M naira.

You can start a business or maybe move your existing business there, which could be lucrative given better access to north and south America.

I haven't done the research, but off the top of my head, IT and medical professionals would probably be in demand there.

An applicant for Permanent Residence can be submitted under one of the following categories:

Employment – for foreign nationals working in the island for more than 3 years(You can keep renewing a work permit to get to 3 years)
Retirement – for retired foreign nationals who wishes to retire in Jamaica(This also applies if you want to start a business)
Marriage to a Jamaican - for foreign nationals who are married to a Jamaican national
Dependent - for foreign nationals who are dependent on a Permanent Resident holder
Previous holders of Unconditional Landing status by virtue of marriage to a Jamaican

Honestly in my view, it seems Nigeria is somewhat more or even far developed than Jamaica. All the pics posted here so far, i have not seen a place better developed than Enugu city, let alone Lagos, talk most of Abuja. I haven't seen any thing outstanding here to be frank.
