You see,some children bottled up so many emotions and secrets in their lives because their parents do not encourage them to share their worries with them. Trust me,it could be one of the teachers or somebody highly placed in the school that had been having canal knowledge of that poor girl for a very long time without her highly insensitive mother having any idea about it ! and who says they don't rape with condoms, a man was arrested after a teenage girl below 16 reported he forced her to give him Mouth Action while he offered to drive her home from school, he worn a condom and it was taken as evidence (happened in the US can't remember the year). What kind of nonsense stress is that when it comes to your child’s health? You took her home on the 19th and didnt take her straight to the hospital. You kept her at home till 21st. Who knows? If she had been taken to the hospital earlier, she might have been saved.

My take is that this perilous time is not suitable for boarding schooling esp. for girls that should be taken adequate care of.

Except for a child you want to give wicked treatment, don't take her/him to boarding house.
