POF is required before CAS issuance. Information reaching me is that it takes 5-10 days before you get CAS,after sending your POF

You can actually do walking same day you write your name. Just go to TLS very early, as early as 6am. Ask if there is a list of name for walk in, if not then get a sheet and generate one and try and coordinate the list, once TLS officials starts coming out to arrange their steel barricades let walk-in people start to line up according to their number on the list (line close the side of the gate for enquires and don't block the normal applicants with appointment. This was exactly what happened today and about 35 people (nos 1 - 35) based on the list were allowed in today for walk in even though the list had over 80 names. At about 9:30am or so 30 walk-in were already allowed inside.

Just write a letter and hold it along.
Also hold the fee for assisted service. They will help you scan and upload the letter.

Alternatively you can also print the page of the question you forgot, add Dubai if there is space. Sign and date. They should be able to upload it for you.

Hello all, please what is TLS, IOM and how do i go about it. Im still waiting for my 28days so i can show my proof of funds to teesside.

TLS is where you book appointment for biometrics, pay for assisted service, priority or any other Value added service you want. You only get access after you submit your application and pay for visa fees and ihs.


IOM is the clinic where you do your tuberculosis test. You need an appointment or you go there physically to write your name down. You must upload the TB certificate with your documents.

In additional information section in the Visa application, u can explain that a slight error was made in ur surname on ur neco and u have provided affidavit.

Anyway this is what i wld do sha.

Please I need clarification, I’m applying for a student visa to the Uk with my husband as a dependent. I have my CAS. There’s a place on the visa application form that ask, if anyone is financially dependent on me whether traveling with me or at home. I don’t know if I’m suppose to indicate that my husband is financially dependent on me since we intend traveling together and I’m the main applicant. Or I should indicate No. I’m kind of confused because he isn’t dependent on me in reality, he is only traveling as a dependent.

Whatever you are doing with GCU, please start early. I know someone whose CAS was delayed for almost 2 months for January intake 2021.

Please house see what I am asking about regarding the TB. Will come back from Dubai to apply for my visa since I might not be given the visa if I apply from Dubai considering my PoF will be from a Nigerian account. So please do I need to take TB test since UAE (Dubai) isn't listed among the countries that have to take TB test and I have be here for almost 3yrs
