Hello Nairalanders.

There's this problem that is a great concern to me. I have this anxiety and fear towards approaching a lady I like to ask her out. Most times, I have this inferiority complex and even tend to go after the low class girls, yet it doesn't stop my problem.


Even people that give me green light, I find it very hard to make my intentions known. My last experience in my immediate past relationship saw me writing a note to the babe to conveying my intentions �.

Although, some girls give me green light, I still find it uneasy to approach them. Besides, I'm not bad looking, coupled that I'm intelligent. Is my problem psychological? Please I need help

Only one thing can and that is you need to go out and practise.

You can read all the dating books in this world but you'll still lose your sh*t with girls if you don't practice.

Go out and talk with girls. It may just be hi and hellos, a smile here and there. Do it consistently and in time you'll see yourself becoming more open to women.

The solution is to face your fears squarely as life has no shortcuts

Make a commitment to approach a new lady in your neighbourhood, church , workplace or bus every 3 days or so

Keep the flirting simple, compliment her geniunely, ask if you can be a friend and get her number , chat up and go on dates..

Soon enough you would be ok with rejection and would simple laugh it off with consolatory words like "See girl wey i won manage" "she no even fine reach Amala wey I toast yesterday"
