I need help. My Nigerian used Honda moves and stops since I bought it. I have changed the engine to toms. I have serviced the gear and yet it moves a short distance and stops. What can I do? What exactly is wrong?

Hello guys, please I need your help ASAP. My Toyota Camry tiny light trafficators refused to come on today. I used the said trafficators yesterday. Even the hazard one won't come up. When I engage the trafficator, it's makes one funny sound. What could be the cause. I need to travel with the car tomorrow.

Sequence of events.

When ignition is on, do you have the light? When you start with engine cool does the light go off?

When driving does the light come on
When engine is hot and engine is idling, do you have the light on?

I will try and notice all this questions u ask so I can answer u correctly but what I know is that sometimes the indication disappeared and reappear later

Thanks so much, we have changed the flasher but it's only hazard light that is up, the right and left trafficator still not come up. The guy put back my flasher and it's only the hazard light that is on meaning my flasher is fine. He has checked all the fuses, they look ok.

Kindly see the attached picture for the error codes from my car. The car is Toyota Camry 2007 xle.

Based on my mecho recommendation, i recently put catalyst in the car, so i expect that i shouldn't be having p0420 again.

About the other code (p0172), please i need guidance on it, there is no money and as such i can't afford my mechanic to be second guessing and treating what's not.

Good morning house,

I have been following this thread for years now.

I have a 2004 Honda Accord and I have noticed the following;
1: whenever I start the car early in the morning, it doesn't start smoothly at first attempt and after driving for some time and I turn off the engine and start, it responds fine. This doesn't happen before and it happens every morning.

2: Once I start my car in the morning, and I want to drive out, I hear a whinning noice when turning the steering and after driving for sometime, the whinning sound stops.

3: whenever I drive without the AC on at very low speed, the steering responds fine, but immediately I turn on the AC, the steering becomes hard at low speed or when applying brakes.

4: when driving and I am stuck in traffic with AC on and I want to move to another lane, the steering will become hard, even sometimes when the AC is not on, the steering becomes hard atimes.

I was told it's leakage, which I have worked on, but it's still the same.
Please I need your help here.

1. Fuel pressure/ Engine tune up required.

Check fuel pump, clean injectors and plugs decarbonize if you have the means.


2. 3. 4.

Check powersteering pump for air leaks at the supply route, usually an "O" ring leak. Also change powersteering oil.

Finally ensure idle speed is not static and varies according to load.

The “O/D Off” button prevents the automatic transmission from being able to shift into the highest gear.

Make sure the light is not turned on

Dear Gazzuzz, Ikenna and other guru in the house.

I have issue with my 2001 v6 Toyota Camry gearbox not selecting when it engaged in D and works perfectly yesterday.

Kindly enlighten me on this to check on the gearbox which i can inform my technician because i am so worried because the car aid my movement around PH.

Help a bro, resources is scarce now.

I hear a strange noise coming from my exhaust manifold when I turn my ac on . This happens mostly when i turn the engine on in the morning (cold start).

And sometimes I smell funny exhaust fume smell coming from the exhaust pipe.

What could be the cause?

Hello, I noticed some noise when i driving my car , especially when I entered a potholes or a sloopy kind of road, you know all those sounds, not so car friendly noise, I don't know the best way to describe it , I took my car to the mechanics, he said I might have to change my Shock absorber and ball joint which I paid for , but after the fixing. I still noticed the fault has not been fixed, so I took it back to him, he took me the noise was coming from my steering, please I want to know if its a mechanic work to work on car steering or I have to take it to Rewire place for checking, please don't ignore
