The sausage (hotdog as we call it in nigeria ) is made of grounded meat or pork..but checking the sealing of the sausage if u se hallal written on ot ,the it means it's being made from grounded beef and not pork

fyi the term 'hot dog' in traditional nigerian parlance refers to a steaming plate of properly cooked or fried 404 (aka dog meat) marvelously garnished with assorted spiced herbs and usually accompanied by a big mug (aka 'who send you') of freshly tapped palm wine

Not necessarily. Some are made from beef or chicken. If yours was pork then more grease to your elbow. You didn’t die. I work around ignorant people who swear to never eat pork but are huge fans of bacon every morning. Fun fact; bacon is made from pig’s belly.
