There are three that testify /bear witness."
Anything more than this is FRAUD,not Holy Scriptures.

Do not add or subtract. God's Commanded.
Your demonic Bible won't stand here sorry....

Nearly every cult and false religion denies the doctrine of the Trinity.

Two of the major cults that do this are Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus is not Jehovah God. Instead, they believe that He is a god but not the one and only true God. Jehovah’s Witnesses have their own version of the Bible called the New World Translation.

This version translates John 1:1 erroneously. While the inerrant Word of God states, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1), the New World Translation presents the last phrase of the verse this way: “and the Word was a god” (emphasis added).

The article “a” is not in the original Greek. A rule in Greek grammar states that when an anarthrous (no article) predicate nominative is present it is for emphasis.

The noun is “Word” and the predicate nominative is “God.” Since no article is present before the predicate nominative, “God,” the verse is testifying that the Word (Jesus) is God.

By denying the Trinity and teaching that Jehovah God is supreme and Jesus is an inferior god on the order of Michael the Archangel, the Jehovah’s Witnesses are actually polytheistic—they believe in multiple gods.

Mormonism is a religious system that believes in many gods and denies the Trinity.

Furthermore, Jesus identified Himself as God several times. Three times in John 8, Jesus declared that He was Almighty God. “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins” (John 8:24).

Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the I Am who spoke to Moses out of the burning bush (Exodus 3:14).

He does the same thing in John 8:28 and John 8:58. The Jewish leaders understood exactly what He claimed, and they attempted to stone Him for claiming to be God (John 8:59).

The Jews tried to do the same thing in John 10 after Jesus declared, “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30).

Jesus asked why they wanted to stone Him, and they replied, “For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God” (John 10:33).

Contrary to the beliefs of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons, the Bible refers to Jesus as fully God. “For in Him [Christ] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9, bracketed information added).

Paul wrote that we should live in a godly manner, “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).

Even “doubting Thomas,” upon seeing the resurrected Lord, said to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). The fact is that Jesus is unequivocally called God in multiple passages.

Conclusion

The Bible is quite clear—there is one true God, and He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is salvation in no other God. This Trinitarian God is eternal as stated in Isaiah.

God is one Being in three Persons.

What does the verse John 1 1 mean?
[It] is clear that in the translation "the Word was God", the term God is being used to denote his nature or essence, and not his person. ... This verse is echoed in the Nicene Creed: "God (qualitative or derivative) from God (personal, the Father), Light from Light, True God from True God… homoousion with the Father."

John 1:1 "the word was divine/a god.

The apparent differences in spelling between the word ‘God’ in the phrase ‘and the Word was God’ (‘theos’) and in other places, (even in the previous phrase, ‘and the Word was with God’ (‘theon’)) is due to inflection in the Greek language.

Each Greek noun normally has 8 or 9 forms (cases & number) in which it can appear. (). In the first instance in John 1:1 it is the object of preposition and thus is in the accusative case. In the phrase in question,

it is in the nominative case (indicating the subject or predicate nominative - equal to the subject). But it is the same word for ‘God’, and in both phrases here indicates the One and Only True God.

So the apparent difference is spelling is not because ‘theos’ is a different word than ‘theon’, but is a different form of the identical word.

Whether there is inflection, that is not the point.

@ John 1:1 the word is ho Logos.
Greek 3588 ho ...(the)
Ho Logos-the word was with ho theos-the God.

I told you your Bible was demonic from the devil because devil hate people to call Jesus the man that defeated him devil hate people to call him God

Devil defeated the first Adam but a life giving spirit Jesus dealt with him all Satan children the only thing they know is to hate Jesus the same way their father the devil hates him

God said Jesus name is higher than all names in the universe so when devil and his children hear that name Jesus is God they become so angry to the extent of creating their own Bible to pull people to their evil cult

The aim of the devil actually is to make Jesus look like a common man so that his name will be come common so that it will not have effect

But God word stand sure forever this Jesus is still tormenting devil and his children on earth

Actually there should not be any confusion on these points at all unless you have been allowing 'Jehovah's Witnesses' to confuse you (which, I suspect, you have). Opinion is not really as 'diverse' as you may have been led to believe.

John 1:1 clearly reveals the deity of Christ. Please note:
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (NKJV).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (NIV).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (KJV).
*The Logos was with God, the Logos was divine (Moffatt).
*The Word dwelt with God, and what God was, the Word was (NEB).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (RSV).
*The Word was with God, and the nature of the Word was the same as the nature of God (Barclay).
*That word was with God and was God (Phillips).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (NASB).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (ASV).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (Douay-Rheims).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (Darby).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (ERV).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (Weymouth).
*The Word was with God, and the Word was God (Young's Literal).

In contrast, the New World Translation (that is, the JW 'Bible') renders this part of John 1:1 in a most unusual way:
'The Word was with God, and the Word was a god.'
This is a clumsy and incorrect way of translating John 1:1 and the JWs only do it for doctrinal reasons (that is: because they accept 'Arianism' which has long been a heresy of established Christianity;

Arianism allows Jesus to be God's highest creation, but not God). Please note that every major translation recognises that the original Greek insists that there is no qualitative difference between the Word and God - despite this, the NWT insists on demoting the Word to 'a god.'

The indefinite article (that is: a) does not, by the way, occur in the Greek but is inserted by the Witnesses to represent a Jesus who is separate from God. This flawed device simply will not do if one is going to be faithful to the Greek and even liberal Bible scholars have never suggested the downgrading of the Word in the manner in which the 'New World Translation' does (that is, as "a god" - an indefinite article and no capital 'G').

This is a flagrant betrayal of what the Greek very clearly states and puts the NWT at odds with about 40 other English Bibles which have no difficulty in correctly interpreting the Greek text.
In complete contrast, the New Testament is clear about the divinity of Jesus: Matthew 28:19-20;
Ephesians 1:23; John 4:25-29; 6:64-65; 13:11; 19:28; 21:17.

1. He knew their thoughts: Matthew 9:4; 12:25; 22:18; Mark 2:8; 12:15; Luke 5:22; 6:8; 9:47; 11:17;
John 2:24-25; 5:42; 6:6,64-65; 16:19,30; Acts 1:24.

2. He knew the future: Matthew 16:21; 20:18-19; John 2:19,21-22; 12:23-24,32-33.

3. He is Eternal: 1 Timothy 1:17; 6:14-16; Hebrews 7:24-25; Revelation 1:4-5,8,17; 2:8; 21:6; 22:13.

4. He is pre-existent to Creation: John 1:1-3,10; 3:13; 6:62; 8:34-36,58; 17:3-5,24;
1 Corinthians 8:6; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:13-20; Hebrews 1:2;
Revelation 13:8.

Yes, in Hebrews 1:8, the writer of Hebrews indeed calls Jesus 'O, God.'

In complete contrast, the New Testament is clear about the divinity of Jesus: Matthew 28:19-20;
Ephesians 1:23; John 4:25-29; 6:64-65; 13:11; 19:28; 21:17.

1. He knew their thoughts: Matthew 9:4; 12:25; 22:18; Mark 2:8; 12:15; Luke 5:22; 6:8; 9:47; 11:17;

4. He is pre-existent to Creation: John 1:1-3,10; 3:13; 6:62; 8:34-36,58; 17:3-5,24;
1 Corinthians 8:6; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:13-20; Hebrews 1:2;
Revelation 13:8.

Yes, in Hebrews 1:8, the writer of Hebrews indeed calls Jesus 'O, God.'

Bishop, do yourself a world of good and acknowledge the Source you copied this GIBBERISH.

Copy copy plagiarist

Where is your evidences for your FALSE claims that JWs insert Greek 3588 (the) definite article in John 1:1?

LIENUS, Hebrews 1:6 copied Psalms 45:6.
Read Psalms 45:6-7 , Masoretic Texts is older than any English Bible you know.
"God is your throne/ Your throne given of God"
(Confirmed by Jesus @ Revelation 3:21 "my Father's throne"wink.
Read both Screenshots evidences. It is super accurate.
Your Trinity mentors DUBIOUSLY omitted the Greek 3588 lexicon from John 1:1 lexicon to DECEIVE you.

Besides you believe portions of Scriptures tainted with omissions & additions by men to discredit the words of the son of God@ John 20:17, John 3:16,36 & Revelation 3:12,21.

Greek Theos have 2 meanings in English.
"God / a god."
Ho Logos was with ho theos-the Father/the God Almighty

The second theos "the word was God/a god" is NOT ho theos-the Father/God Almighty.

The same Greek 1510 2316 is @ Acts 28:6 & John 1:1- "was a god".

Bishop, your Bibles evidences (study the Screenshots carefully) proven your claim is FALSE.

The above is lies from the devil because

My brother dictionary is same as internet the definition will always combine local god of the language meaning with the real God meaning because the dictionary professors normal words are not written in capital letters but here in original script they wrote the Greek in capital letters to prove a point different from normal dictionary meaning

Over forty scholars say Theos mean the same as God when in Greek capital form
Now johova witnesses founders decided to use a god just because they hate Jesus so much probably as their father the devil instructed them

The original manuscript sample below state that every thing was written in capital letters but as evil as your Bible is notice it change only the last letter to small capital letter g

While leaving other once to start with big capital letters don't you see the devil working in them in your own Bible
now see real Greek sample

Just because Devils children perverted the Bible through jehova witness because they hate Jesus so much

God still proves Jesus in many places that they can not rewrite all of them example below

In the old testament look at God talking about himself

Psalm 45:6
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

Look at God too talking about his son

Hebrews 1:8
But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

Now let read it from the evil johova witness Bible to see how they can manipulate it

Hebrews 1:8,,,, from New world translation says
8 But about the Son, he says: “God is your throne+ forever and ever, and the scepter of your Kingdom is the scepter of uprightness.

Look at new world translation saying that the throne of Jesus is God

Lol

This is the person who you said is Michael, before saying he is a small god
Because saying he is a small god means you don't believe in Jesus and you can't worship Jesus
But your evil Bible is saying that the throne of Jesus is God himself which also means Jesus is sitting on God

Lol

Don't you see how confused jehova witness is
Repent now
Since your Bible is saying and has proved to you that God is the throne of Jesus that you hate so much

very easy any sect that teaches that the holy spirit is a mere force or a mere floating power that probably has no personal sense or or personal mouth of his own will definitely not have the holy spirit, notice the character of the holy spirit so tender and gentle you neglect him he withdraws himself Jesus and the father protects the holy spirit he is the only one who you sin against who Jesus said no one can forgive you when you hurt the holy spirit

I get your point, you see the oneness of God as one being, which is not necessarily so. I also think you’re conflating omnipresence and oneness of God.

Oneness connotes unity of mind and purpose, not literal numbers.

Remember Jesus prayed for the body of believers to be one just as he and the father are one - John 17 v 22. It doesn’t mean I and you are the same person in the literal sense.
I think so and I think it rotational

Once you enter this christ because Christianity is above religion it is the way of life

Once you become born again you will never die because body death is not the real death the real death is separation from God Which takes place when those who refuse God are placed in the lake of fire

So once you are saved you will live forever with God
