like I told you records of John the baptist was not really detailed in the bible firstly. And secondly john the baptist was not even in our dispensation. Including Jesus sef. The resurrection of Jesus christ gave birth to our dispensation.
Now all what Jesus did was to teach us all what was important. Even Jesus talked about tithe, but he only made reference to it once and only said there are weathier matters eventhough it is right. You can read it yourself .
Matt 23:23, he was saying that they care about tithe and leaving weathier matters, and he said they shouldn't leave one and concentrate on the other, everything has to be preached.
