Cuthbertola:
Hello house,

I need to verify an information i got online from someone i just met. According to him he’s a citizen of canada that reside in calgary. I went to his inbox and asked him what i should study between nursing and software eng, he told me to go for nursing but i was afraid if i could cope with the high fee with just a 20hours/week job. So i told him about that(fee) and he said i should forget about the supposed fee(12000$ For int student) i saw on me
Memorial university school site(which he sent to me), that i will just be paying 2000$ per semester approx 4000$ per session. I was worried about the information so i felt i should ask here for verification.

Please house help me, before i start at all i need to verify this information to be sure i will not be in any problem.

nursing and software eng? How come?

Please what is your current qualification because these two courses are two different things? Which program level are you planning to go for? Also, did he plan to apply for you?

He said he gave him some documents before the biometric but collected it back that he needed to forward it to a woman in Abuja for the complete processing.

This is a serious case!! To be honest! This is my candid advice as you wait for our guru input here.

Either way (passport number or thumbprint), you are already linked to the IRCC GCM-SYSTEM used in processing applications.

If you submit another application and a background check is done on your passport or thumbprint, it will show existing records. And if those records differ, it might raise eyebrows. So using another international passport with another number wouldn't solve the issue due to your thumbprint already in the system, except he didn't submit any application (only if the biometrics day was just a ghost display to go away with your funds - nothing is impossible in the Nigeria scenario).

So the only way is to get your ALL details from him either with force or diplomatic means. So it's a dicey one!! ALL THE BEST

Kindly wait for other input on this case.

Yes i want to go for undergrad so i want to go for either computer science or nursing. He just told me to apply to social sciences first that i wont get nursing if i apply first. What do you think about the information on the fees he mentioned?

Both are good. Just that q-life is a bit cheaper than IOM. Q-life is N40,000 while IOM is 46,500. Where do you reside or where are coming from. IOM is in the mainland while Q-life is in Island of Lagos state.

Thanks alot, am coming from Port Harcourt

To me Qlife is preferable.
You book and pay online,
You get a closer daye,
You go on your date and do your medicals without stress.

But the other one, you can't even get 3 months from now.

Thanks alot,

Can someone apply for admission with unofficial transcript? I'm Thinking of getting a copy of my transcript from my university through Etx but their site says they give "unofficial" personal copies. Would that still be ok because I feel it would be stressful if I had to process a new transcript application for every admission application as I have more than one school in mind to apply for
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Lianna2020: 3:10am On Jul 12, 2021
I’m yet to have my official transcript sent to the university.

I applied with my student copy pending when my school will send it to them .

Stating lectures today already

Morning booses,

Just want to ask if Canada college accept NECO results for study permit and for admission.

Good morning guys, please i want to confirm something here. If your school asks you to pay certain amount of fee through flywire, lets assume the naira equivalent is 2million naira on flywire. Is it possible to use another method to pay?

Also, is it possible to have a lesser equivalent with another method because i see people talking about Form A being a better option. I know nothing about Form A. House kindly elaborate, I'm at the junction of paying the fees for the school. Thank you all.

Official transcript is meant to be sent directly from the issuing school to the receiving school/office and you as a student is not supposed to get hold of it. Normally, what is required of you during admission processing is the unofficial transcript. Most schools will ask you to send your official transcript when your admission is out.

So yes, go ahead and process your admissions with your unofficial transcript.

I think it will be stated and required if you need to go for medicals.

Please is this message normal or is there need to do something new?

The message is normal, that’s how it shows for everyone at the beginning. It doesn’t mean you can’t do upfront medical examination or that you won’t need to do a medical examination.

4. Family Information form (IMM5645E) or (IMM5707E)
