Oshodi Transport interchange is the Biggest Bus terminal in Nigeria and West Africa. It is also one of its kind in Nigeria.

It is a world-class bus terminal in Oshodi, Lagos State, Nigeria. It is a multi three-story facility featuring three separate terminals linked by the skywalk bridge. It is one of the newest infrastructural development in Lagos to boost the transportation sector.

It may well be the most ambitious project ever embarked upon by the Lagos State Government.

The project gulped about $70 million.

Ha

I was there as recent as last month.

There are already broken glass panels and attendant booths are already looking like there was a wwe fight in them.

Oh let’s not even mention the annoying littering and misuse of things that are clearly labeled.

Mismanagement and under maintenance will kill it off in a few years.

Before terminal 3 by the bridge, the place has been littered with poo, refuse and all sorts. The truth is even if the Govt builds a world class edifice, the people (Nigerians) will find a way to destroy it. Check out the BRT stations on the barricades used in preventing pedestrians crossing the express roads.

The people that built this are currently building 4 of such too in Ibadan. Two at Iwo road, one at challenge and another at Ojoo. And just concluded a Junction Improvement at Challenge

Though not up to the price of Oshodi but also world class.

Nice on Planet Project,Nice one Lagos

Assuming every state in Nigeria will be in the same level with Lagos State, the rate at which people leave Nigeria will be low...

The only way countries like Nigeria can become better is by
1. World government proposing a law stopping citizens from poor/ third world countries from coming into the EU, US etc except President, vice president, or any other first person diplomats of the said third world countries (family members not allowed in the course of visit) coming for a government summit which mustn't exceed 14days at maximum and the said person vacates the foreign country and back to his/her country of origin.
2. Business owners in any country with in the EU, US etc whose roots could be traced back to any of the third world countries will not be given any residence permit to reside in the country, rather they will only be given the chance to visit and return back to their country of origin maximum after 7days(families not allowed to visit during the course since the visit is for business)
3. Students seeking to gain admission into foreign institutions, when successful will undertake the said program online, matriculation and convocation will be online as well, as long as the said student comes from country such as Nigeria ( Irrespective of social status or class)
4. Job seekers/ employees from countries like Nigeria will not be considered to reside permanent in any foreign country irrespective of social status, class or diplomatic status. They will only spend 300hours abroad in their course of work and return to their home country and stay for one week before returning back to country of work, no family members is allowed to visit during period of work.(this will be the major yardstick for employment by any non governmental/ private bodies)
5. No more tourist visa for citizens of the third world countries. Rather the duration be reduced to 2weeks for only medical cases with no option of renewal upon expiration.

If the above is attended to, Nigerians will start thinking of how to solve the problems chasing them out of their country. All politicians children and families will be stuck in Nigeria, the unemployment, insecurities, bad economy etc caused by the greed of their parents will be experienced by them all.
It's because the government and Politicians feel they have secured their family's future and that of their children by sending them abroad that's why they are all hell bent in crippling the system.
I don't think any sane human will burn down his or her house when he/she has no place to run to.

Lagos leads, other states in Nigeria needs to follow up.
