Rashford is fast.

His speed alone could have been used to torment exasperated teams at the end of games.

Personally, I felt England's bench were far stronger than their starting lineup except for some players like Walker, Kane and Sterling. That midfield of Philips and Rice wasn't the best. Rashford and Sancho shouldn't have been warming bench throughout. Reece James is better than Trippier even at LB. Kane should have never played up to 90 minutes in any game. Even Saka should not have had up to half the minutes someone like Foden should be having.

I feel like Southgate prefers loyal players he can control to better players that wants to do their own thing. His defensive playing style requires this kind of strategy to survive. He knows he can't tell Rashford or Foden to sit back and defend for a full half, and that's why he can't use them.

Rashford was not fit to go to this tournament at first

You wonder why his game time is very small

If Awoniyi performs well in pre-season, I feel like he can break into their team. Once Liverpool sell Origi and maybe Shaqiri, he has a solid chance of claiming a spot for himself at least as a sub in games. From there, he can keep on improving.

Don't get your hopes high.

No matter how well he plays, Taiwo Awoniyi is not in the short term plans of Jurgen Klopp, talk less long-term. This I can confirm.

The only reason he is with the first team is because no club has met his valuation as Liverpool don't want to loan him out again, only permanent deal.

If he scores in every game, he will still be sold.

But we have gone through Kenneth Omeruo at Chelsea na. If they don't want him he is going to be with the U17s or something. Just give the guy a chance abeg.

It's high time Nigeria won a world cup or get to the semi-final. We are a footballing Nation and we deserve it. We are the first African country to win a FIFA organized tornament in 1985. We have won everything at youth level. We are the highest ranking African team in history (1994 eagles were 5th best in the world). Apart from eto we are the only African country with a 20 goal striker in the Italian league (Simmmy nwankwo). The most expensive African player is a Nigerian (Victor Osimhen).
The first African to play for Chelsea is a Nigerian (Celestine Babayaro). The highest scoring African in the fa cup is a Nigerian (Kelechi iheanacho).
There is a Nigerian kid called Francis dada in Bayern youth team. We have our wonder kids like Akinkunmi Amoo waiting to explode.
We have the histi, pedigree and culture to do it. We only need to believe in ourselves.
WE CAN DO IT

After all Ahmed Musa once went toe to toe with Messi and proved himself. It's high time we fullfiled our potential and won the world cup
Na like so e easy?? We haven't won the World Cup because we are not good enough to. Simple.
We don't deserve anything. We haven't earned the right to win it.
Make we stop with all these talks. Reminds me of when our useless politicians say stupid ish like "Nigeria is too big to fail" while the country is descending to chaos right in front of their eyes.

In the end, the experience of chellini and bonucci 35 and 36 led Italy to another European cups. Tomorrow, Nigerians will reject the idea of our own experienced ighalo and victor moses. Rohr whatever you're doing, victor moses and ighalo needs a recall ASAP
Chellini and Bonucci are not only the best Italian CBs around but they are also playing at the highest level.
Ighalo and arguably Moses are not the best in their respective positions.
Besides, no one forced them to retire. They did so voluntarily.

Awoniyi is up for sell though... But there's still a chance that he can break into the team. Personally,I'll prefer he leaves...Even if he does manage to break into the team, he won't be a regular starter...
At this stage of his career,he should be playing regularly more....

Chukwueze destroyed Barca and Real Madrid, has Moses done that?

Moses Is a
Uefa cup 2x, premier league, fa cup, carling cup, ANC winner and serious contributor. I like chukwueze but let's respect ourselves. Chuks only has 1 Uefa cup. Personally, in reference to super eagles RW only Odegbami and finidi has put in better performance than moses

Are you comparing them based on team achievements and what does Moses did in 2016 have to with the moment?

Despite the fact that we have been leading comfortably for most of the game, the boys are still playing some serious defending..... That's what you get from a well coached team...

I agree that England are loaded but using winning the UCL as some sort of yardstick is wrong

What has Grealish done in football ?

You think Grealish will make the French team bench while playing for ekuke Aston Villa ?

Grealish hasn’t even done half of what berardi has done for sassuolo yet you epl fan boys won’t let us hear word
