Pls my fellow nairalanders, help a brother, I have been planning on how to migrate to Canada for my bachelor's degree on criminology...but I'm quite confused and lost because I don't have anyone over there, or have an idea of my budgeting . I mean the minimum amount that I'm expected to have before making such move... Thanks for your time, pls your contributions and advice is needed.

This is rough estimate. (as it will differ based on school and province)

For Undergraduate about 7kCAD per year - 28,000 CAD
Living expense for a year 10k per year - 40000 CAD

Total is 68,000 CAD

Using my knowledge of IRCC last CAD - NAIRA rate of 331, your total will be - N22,508,000

However, you just need to show funds for a year or two for undergraduate and prove how the rest will come.

Omo, I never knew undergraduate could be this expensive until I did this calculation.

85% - 95% of the time, they wouldn't attend to you because the daily appointment that is booked is off the roof.

If you order now, you will get it by August 13 or 14. That's far. But then, it's okay shaa. I want to wait a bit longer. I usually send them messages, though I don't know if they even read the message

Top of the morning family, I applied for an undergrad study over a month ago, and I’m yet to be offered admission.
Right now I’m thinking of applying to admission school but which school offers admission for undergrad study without having to pay school fees here in Nigeria?

I'm not sure you can get any.

For undergraduates, you must at least pay a certain fee before a letter of acceptance/admission will be given to you for your visa application.

So i doubt if you can get any.

7kCAD a year for bachelors??
The least you’d see for a year is 14,000CAD if you’re going for bachelors
For undergraduate programs Most universities Tuition ranges from 15,000CAD to even 30,000CAD for just a year.

Attached below are cost of tuition for bachelors in some universities

Please I stand to be corrected.
