These are the functions you would loose when you update your Redmi phone.

1. Split Screen has been replaced with floating window. I don't know what that is.

2. Dual space no longer visible. You can access your dual space if you have set it up. But how to modify it or create it for those that have not created it is not available.

This is not a general problem though, second space was removed in their lower midrange and budget phones especially the 4/64 variants cause it takes up a lot of resources. You can still actually enable the second space if you want to using activity launcher

You can still use spilt screen on full screen gesture mode and floating windows are actually better IMO.

With all your Xiaomi rantings since I actually expected that you would have long sold this your phone

Long press the home (centre) screen while on the app you want to split and you will see the split screen option. And there is still dual space and everything works fine. The buttons were changed.

Someone already said it was removed from 4/64gb variant of Redmi9 and other lower end devices. I have done all that on my Redmi9 and there is no split screen or dual space menu even though the dual space still works. I might consider factory reset to see what changes.

Yeah, I feel they should have stated it in the update cos most people won't have updated if they knew they'd be losing some of these features

You can install it from play store.
There's a reason they removed it from their lower end phones though so anything you're doing is at your own risk

Some users also complained of touch issues.

They said when they play lots of games the screen flickers starts touching by itself.

Not sure I wanna experience that. Can be frustrating! undecided
