Lie detectors are not hundred percent accurate and are therefore not reliable as evidence in court.
And the case appears to be turning to be her against the police forcing her to make statements under duress so it's u likely that result of a lie detector created by the police will be admitted in court. Except if there is a neutral trusted third party that can administer it in the presence of her lawyer and videoed.

The unnamed senior officer who suggested that a lie detector be used on this case ideally has a case to answer. Same applies to the blogger, the Director of Crime Watch TV, other conspirators and the CP or whoever authorised the latest image-laundering and well rehearsed rebuttal confession made by the self-confessed murder suspect.

At the level of the police; heads need to roll and the current charade calls for independent investigation by a Foreign Private Forensic Expert whose fees should be deducted from the salary of the Inspector General of Police for gross mismanagement of the Criminal Justice System under his beat grin cool

Obviously, the murder suspect was not properly processed; she may not have written the procedural 'statement' immediately after her arrest; she's had access to a level of VIP treatment not deserving of suspected murderers and it's not unlikely the CP and / or his team, the blogger and Crime Watch TV are on the payroll of some powerful people who have completely scuttled this case.

Lie detector is not a reliable tool in validation of crime. Nigerian police should avoid being compromised, victims of crime should be protected, while the guilty is held responsible for their actions.

So our Nigerian police have lie detector and they haven't used it before even on our politicians. Things are just unravelling itself every day in Nigeria.

So let's say lie detector is the solution. hope say battery no go die and also they have to know the kind of questions they ask because if you ask an ashawo if she's one and she says yes lie detector cannot trace anything contradiction.

When using the lie detector our police in charge need to draft technical questions that would trigger the lie senses of the girl.

Also,isnt she supposed to be provided a lawyer before parading her before the media. Because I know they say you're just a suspect until the court proves you so why did they keep parading her before the media without providing a lawyer.

All you people saying it's impossible for her to have killled him... what's so impossible about it? Hers is certainly not the first case of murder of a male by a female.

None of you know the circumstances of the murder. She could've blindsided him, he could've been asleep, he could've been drugged or tired or any number of debilitating factors.

Most often the simplest probability is the truth: and the simplest explanation is two went in, only one walked out with the victim's properties and money. She clearly killed him for his money, period.

Why was Maryam Sanda sentenced to death for stabbing her husband to death, and why aren't the same fallacious arguments presented by you lot same as in this case? Maryam's husband was not asleep, drugged, or drunk. There was a struggle and she killed him.
