Oba akran./Adeniyi Jones traffic junction heading towards akilo.

It's a cash point for MIB and lastma. On Monday, I saw four bikes on standby with 2 MIB each on the bike. I'm like truly, grin these men are securing Lagos.EIGHT grown men on one traffic junction alone. shocked. Wao.

1. Don't park on the ZEBRA crossing.
In trying to avoid been flagged for running the light. You might stop abruptly, n find yourself on the ZEBRA. So pace your motion, so that you don't beat the light n you don't also get stopped on the ZEBRA.

If you are on amber, it's advisable you stop, no one can penalise you for this, provided you are not on the ZEBRA.

2. The last right lane turns into Adeniyi Jones. DO NOT TURN on red. Wait for the green light. There are only two scenarios when you can TURN right. a. When you are on green facing Akilo and b. when the vehicles on Adeniyi Jones move into the road facing Ikeja underbridge. The same rule applies for those about to exit Adeniyi Jones. DONT allow any car bully you with honking.

3. DON'T make a U turn. The U turn is further down the road by that AIICO. (those heading to Akilo) and by Forte oil now Adova ( those heading to ikeja underbridge.).

Come this guy shay na road safety and caution signs you read for school? grin the accuracy at which you even narrate all of these even one who have never been to Lagos b4 will understand.

The height (195) is the only thing that changed the 60/65 is just the width of the tire. Changing from 60 to 65 reduces traction therefore speed, also, your tires will be having contact with the body of the car during bends . Increasing the height of the tire (185 to 195 or rim size 15 to 16/17 reduces balance and handling. At a speed say 100/120km/h you'll feel it on your steering and behind the car... You won't be able to make some sharp bend at say 60/80km/h. Also, in case of too much load the tire will also come in contact with the chassis and this can damage ur tires.

Best is avoid bad roads, if you must ply bad roads go slowly. People use Benz an other sport cars even in Satalite Towngrin

185 is width NOT height... 60 is the height. Changing from 60 to 65 raises ride height.
This falls within permissible parameters without affecting ride quality.
In the picture I posted you can see there's plenty of clearance between the tires and the wheel well.
Wider tires should increase traction as well.
And I speak from experience, I drove the car so I know what I'm talking about

Wow, I didn't know. I always thought it was N10/min.

Don't be surprised that most of those riders that ask drivers to start trip and wait actually know what they're doing, maybe waiting time don multiply their fares by 2 before

So I decided to drive on Bolt after a long time. Here are my observations.

1. Bolt has increased their fare that riders even me the driver do get shocked after ending the ride and seeing the amount displayed. Trips that would have ordinary end at 700, 800 naira end at 1200, 1300 naira.

2. 25k weekly rental is a big blow on the car owner. An unserious driver can make that driving for two days. Minimum rental fee should be 30k considering the increase in prices of car parts.

3. Hate women or like them, they are the reason this business is moving. Out of every ten rides, seven are most likely to be women and the reason is not far fetched. Men tend to have access more to private cars than women either as a single or married person.

4. Some places are not as bad as it is painted here. I drove to Ikotun and Ijegun last Sunday and I only drove through the tarred roads.

5. Mainland is the best area to drive on Sundays than Island. Island trips are always extremely short ones on Sundays.

Good morning Guys,

The cases of fraud from Riders to Drivers is on the rise.
If u suspect a Gboy or Runs girl or anybody, ensure you get your alert before u let Rider go.
That's what I do if fare is above 1k.
Nobody goes to buy something from a stranger and does transfer and leaves without seller getting alert and confirming payment.

Also, post all the phone numbers of Riders that have scammed u, (the ones that haven't paid yet as we read this post) let's all save these numbers and have a directory so we can avoid or know how to deal with them in the future when our paths cross.

What they do now is after Bolt/Uber blocks their account, they use a friend's number to open another account and continue their atrocities. But one thing is when they request, they still call u with their number first because the number on the App isn't theirs.

God will continue to keep us from temptations

Thank you sir, I was going through my trips and remembered bolt asked me to contact them in 7 days if rider didn’t pay. So I contacted and see the reply,

This part of giving rider money, is it a generic default reply or what does that mean ? Don’t give rider money and do a screen shot? After telling you rider didn’t pay at all

I almost dropped one guy's number here not for people to call him to pay but to save it and attach my name so whenever they pick him they can alert me so I will come from wherever I am (if road is free lol) and deal with him, but he called and paid (1200).
It's a good idea at least drivers can be prepared for their antics knowing the kind of rider they picked

Means if u give rider cash to get something in anticipation of transfer plus fare at the end of the trip, that one no concern Bolt. So to unlock Riders account back, rider needs to pay only specified fare amount, excluding what you claim u gave Rider. If Rider doesn't include the money u gave him/her provided screenshot of fare amount has been shown, case is closed and rider account will be unlocked.

I’ve done it once and will never do it again,
Trip was 500 rider asked to pls give him 500 to hold cash so he can transfer 1k, I gave him and he transferred audio 1k and since it’s just 1k I didn’t bother to wait for alert 2days after I realized it was scam cos the number I called was for a girl who didn’t take a ride.
I blocked it but na my 500 cash pain me pass.
Since then I will say no cash all riders have been doing transfer too.

So i have been seeing the scam post about riders, yeah, riders run fake alerts more this days, what i do is simple, the minute i realized i have been scammed, i text the rider saying my car has a cctv installed, and that he or she has 2 hours to pay me or get free advert, it has always worked for me though.... At least, 2-3 times in a week, someone tries to play a fast one on me, but they always end up begging me after i do this.... i get paid even more sometimes to just die the matter...

Good day comrades!
My hub has been making mad noise week start, so I’m on the verge of getting it fixed.

Please I’d like to know the best approach towards this, should I do a complete replacement of the hub via tokunbo parts or do just replacement of the bearings inside the hub?
Your input will be greatly appreciated
