a state with so many tribes.all i'm trying to say is that people mistake calabar in cross river for cross river and akwa ibom and not only cross river alone.so they tend to call us all calabar but i still don't think ibibio ALONE can make that list without joining them with other neighbouring tribes.

Yes from my experience, there are more Hausas than Igbos in Lagos, just that the Hausas lives in group, the Okada hustle alone is enough to tell.

If u meant portharcourt then u should know that its very difficult to group and know people by their individual tribes her in PH, as we hardly identify ourselves by our different tribe, that's why we always have problem with Igbos on NL cos they don't understand that here we prefer a common identity

Kanuris are majorly in Yobe and borno state.Though,they are not the only tribes in those two states mentioned above.

In states like Niger and Nasarawa they also have some kanuris who settled there centuries ago after migrating from their land(Kanem bornu),some of this group no longer consider themselves as kanuris why other still consider themselves.

Na you dey talk am say Ijaws are not much,though they may have inflicted their figures,but they are still more than Ibibio .

There are no Ijaws in Rivers state. Anybody claiming Ijaw in Rivers is a Bayelsa migrant. All Ijaws moved to Bayelsa in 1996.

My problem with the akwa/cross people is that they seem not to accept the fact that they are all one. Be it Efik,Ibibio, oron or annang

Even when they have similar cultures and language.

But you see in Igbo is igbo wherever they go be it in Abia, imo or even in Delta... We all identify as igbo.
Although we have various dialects and culture.. We know we are igbo but an average Ibibio doesn't think He is same with the efik, annang or oron and vice versa.

I just wished they set aside their differences and embrace themselves
