After some evaluations i have decided to end the Uzoho-Maduka dissensus on who is better.

Maduka Okoye boyish looks and sometimes unserious visage (when compared to that of Uzoho) might lure into a downward perception of him.
But an honest look at his ball distribution and passing, reactions, reflexes and goalkeeper saves gives him an edge. even though Uzoho is better in some areas such as positioning, Okoye's all round goalkeeping is better.

Perception, sometimes is stronger than reality

Top Dutch club PSV Eindhoven have spoken for the first time on the various transfer speculations surrounding Noni Madueke.

Top European clubs like AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have been linked with the exciting forward.

However, PSV have maintained they are yet to receive a firm offer for the player and would rather not sell him.

PSV technical director John de Jong de Jong told Voetbal International : “At the moment we have not yet received a concrete offer, but obviously everything can change quickly.

“In principle, he should not leave the club, but something crazy can always happen in the transfer market even if our preference would be to keep him here.”

The transfer of Alhassan Yusuf to Antwerp from IFK Goteborg has been finalised and the midfielder is now expected to head to Belgium to complete other formalities.

Gazet van Antwerpen reported that all agreements concerning the transfer are now in place and the 20-year-old Yusuf will arrive Belgium for a routine medical and official presentation.

He will be the 11th new signing for the top Belgian club.

He is widely regarded as a direct replacement for Martin Hongla, who has departed for Italian club Hellas Verona.

SCORENigeria has already reported that the former FC Hearts star will sign a four-year contract with Antwerp after three years at Swedish club Goteborg.

His transfer fee is expected to rise to 1.75 Million Euros with bonuses and other add-ons.

VfL Wolfsburg are a step away from landing Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha.

The Germany U21 international is set to move to Wolfsburg for a fee of €10m.

Kicker says Nmecha and VfL have already agreed personal terms and Wolfsburg are now in talks With City over a final price.

Nmecha had a previous loan spell with Wolves during the 2019/20 season. He spent last term with Vincent Kompany's Anderlecht.

The 22 year-old won the U21 Euros this summer with Germany, finishing the tournament leading goalscorer.

Super Eagles duo, Victor Osimhen and Tyronne Ebuehi will clash on the opening weekend in Serie A after Napoli and Venezia were paired against each other, reports Completesports.com.

The full fixtures for the 2021/22 season was released on Wednesday by the LEGA.

The new campaign will kick-off on Sunday, August 21 and ends on Sunday, May 22, 2022.

There will be five midweek rounds and five international breaks.

Osimhen scored 10 goals in 24 league appearances for Napoli last season.

The 22-year-old missed close to three months of action due to shoulder injury he sustained on international duty and the time he spent in isolation after testing positive to Covid-19.

Ebuehi will experience his debut campaign in Serie A after linking up with Venezia on loan from Portuguese giants Benfica last month.

I kind of get humility's point. Apart from Akpoborie I don't remember too many Nigerian players especially strikers who have done well in the Bundesliga. However as you rightly noted if offers are not coming in from French teams then there's nothing he can do but make do with the cards he has been dealt. I think Taiwo really needs a patient coach who will try and bring out his best footballing traits.

One thing you guys should understand that there should be offers from somewhere before someone goes there

As it is now there aren’t offers from the French league for Taiwo and there are German league offers which is far far better than ekuke championship

And what’s wrong with German league for our players ?

Carry iheanacho osimhen go german league now weda dem no go score for fun

Lollllz but playing for West Brom will help him score lots of goals. He needs that to build his confidence remember ighalo never scored 10goals a season all his time in spain but in Watford in championship he pulled up 20 goals or more and that marks the beginning of the Ighalo we know
Watford that season played on the deck football. Right now we don't know the type WBA will play. If Alardyce remains the coach, your guess is as good as mine that it will be huff and puff with set pieces here and there. It may not suit Awo.

Awoniyi is a humble, hardworking lad who I admire a lot but since his youth football days I haven't really been wowed by his abilities displayed so far. He looks like your typical bullish English archetype striker who operates within the 18-yard box that Burnley like teams will love to have. I personally feel he's capable of better based on what I saw of him in his u17 and u20 days. I think he might need to shed a few pounds to improve his mobility and also avoid muscle injuries.

Awoniyi is definitely not just a bullish striker. He had one muscle injury last season, before that it was a head injury and that made him miss the last preseason. He has always been mobile and creative for a striker.

Without a doubt I believe he can play as a striker for Klopp but the one single question is can he score consistently.

U are right about the first paragraph but think there were offers from the french league for him

Rarely has any of our players score close to 20 goals in a season in the german league

Watching the league matches alone makes me loose interest in football except it is bayern or Dortmund playing.

Trouble is how good is he creatively? how many assists or big chances did he create last season the few times he got to play?

His best bet is to somehow rediscover his scoring touch.

Liverpool already fielded numerous enquiries about Taiwo Awoniyi. Fulham, WBA and Stoke are among a host of English clubs to have expressed interest, while he retains plenty of admirers in Germany. Liverpool believe Awoniyi is worth at least £7m. [@neiljonesgoal]
SMH, Brewster who never played any serious league game was sold for 18mill but a proven player like Taiwo won't even be sold for half of that amount? True true English footballers are over rated

The "Understudy to Genk" report also doesn't make sense because for Genk to be ahead of Dutch giants, Feyenoord and PSV, who score loads of goals, they would have promised him significant gametime.

At the detriment of their captain, Dessers. It's a catch-22 for them.

PSV seems the best option, because they will be selling Donyen Mallen
How can they make Dessers their captain? Are they normal in that club? This is like Manutd making Van Da Beek their captain

Grealish is better than Berardi. Grealish is more of a wide playmaker while Berardi is more of a outlet/winger/wide forward.
It's like saying Coutinho is a better AM than Ozil because he scores more goals which is wild.
You talk about Grealish playing in championship - yeah what about that? He was very close to joining Spurs for a 30m move till it stalled at the last minute.
Fact is in the last 2 seasons he has been at least in the top 3 in chances created, key passes, etc in the epl.
So I don't understand the point you think you're making in talking about him playing in the championship and league 1.
Like I said, we will come back to this discussion.
Nearly doesn't kill a bird, though I understand your point but the fact that he has spent almost half of his career playing lower league football kinda validates Andrew

How many 20-goal a season striker have we had in the past 20 years? The only real super eagles striker that have played in the Buli is Martins and he wasn't trusted to lead the line for wolfsburg. The other guy who played for Cologne didn't do badly though

If I say a player is more than goals, brothers will come for my head. Again.

Here's how the Belgian media depict Cyriel Dessers.

De Condé of TVL Sportcafé

Cyriel will also create five chances every match. I've seen him shout the team to the cup from the sidelines and in the locker room. You should not underestimate what someone like that does in the dressing room.”

VoetballKrant and Voetball24

"Dessers is always positive. Even in training, he always works up a sweat and tries to make himself and the team better. He also does that in the opportunities he gets."

Het Laatste Nieuw

"The ex-striker of Heracles nevertheless keeps morale high. He has a positive attitude to training and works hard."

Elite leadership material.
