Hello all. I’m just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation as we’re trying to find some more information about this. My wife who is a British citizen and also holds a Nigerian passport has now changed her name to her married name on her Nigerian passport. She has an indefinite leave visa which is still in her maiden name. Does anyone know if she needs to get the name on the visa changed before she can change the name on her British passport to her married name? She found information that she needed to change the name on her Nigerian passport first before the British one which is what we’ve done but we’re struggling to find anything about the indefinite leave visa. Thank you all for your help in advance.

Wetin concern British citizen with ILR? If she is already a citizen, the job of her previous ILR visa is done and that document is no longer relevant na.

I was in similar shoes...used my maiden name until British passport then I changed. However my naija passport still in my maiden name which means it is not a requirement.

The full guidance is on Google.... you need 3 things. 1. List the new names on the application. 2. Marriage certificate and 3. Evidence this now a name used. I post the link but it might not copy well so I add screen shot....but its on Google

Hello guys,
I am new here and dont know if this question has been asked previously. Please what's the best and most affordable option for the day 2 and 8 Covid test?

I used Eurofins for my day 2 & 8.

I chose the home delivery option.

It was cheap.

My only issue is that the nut heads made me to either go to their drop off point to drop the sample, or I was expected to personally pay for sample transport.

What about if the main family asset is in the UK + children in the UK ............. grin

Or the most aggrieved party, would drag the other to a Nigerian divorce court.....

Man fit vex terminate his visa (which terminates hers) so they'll both come back and do the divorce in naija

Thanks for using my stake referral link.........

We both earn a free share (most likely Gopro), when you credit your stake account with $50, within 24 hours......

The markets are red at the moment, but investing in shares, must be done with a long-term view........ wink

Good morning everyone, please is it possible for a spouse of the primary applicant of tier 2 visa to travel with the primary applicant same day? Without applying separately or having to wait for months before joining him/her?

Yes, they can travel together. No problem at all, as long as you make provisions for where you will live on landing, a home or hotel till you are able to rent

Good evening, please is it a must I do IELTS UKVI for tier 2?

No you can obtain Naric instead. Slightly cheaper but can take longer. All you need is a copy of your transcript, certificate and letter from school stating you were taught in English.

Tier 4 visa is capital intensive so most students always require their spouse to work full time so as to ease paying off the school fees along side bills, feeding and rent. If you have all these covered in terms of financial buoyance you are good to go.

On the brighter note, ante natal care and delivery is free so no hospital bills required.
