WHY NORTH CAN RETAIN PRESIDENCY.

East, West and Northern regions formed Nigeria at independence in 1960.

From 1967 to 1996, Northern military dictators proliferated too many states (19 states + Abuja) in one region - north, through wrong use of land mass as criterion.

There should have been equal number of states between the three regions, because land mass or population is never used as criterion when creating new political units in a country formed by different regions.

North in a democracy thus draws excess number of political representation to the NASS and FEC. With the electoral laws saying that a presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 2/3 of the 36 states, a northerner must win every presidential election.

2023 go dey very interesting. grin grin

For 2015, yoruba insult SE and SS, come carry banana give fulani monkey. grin

To collect am back now na war. See how yorubas shot themselves in the leg due to hate for other southerners in 2015.

If the fulanis had been told to go to hell in 2015, the worst that would have happenned is the usual post-election riot which would end briefly with the south going their way and fulanis facing their region. Many northerners and Easterners were already ready for break up during 2015 elections. Everyone moved to their regions but yorubas who are now shouting 'oduduwa' thought they were being smart. Now that they have been 419ed by Abokeys, they want to drag the East along into their 'one south' narrative for the benefit of yoruba presidency.

After which they'll return to insulting and mock the East while claiming sophisticated. Ndigbo will not allow their skulls to be used to break coconut that they will not partake in the eating. If it must come south, it should come to the South East who have not produce a president in this democratic dispensation. yorubas have done 8 years president and by 2023 will do 8 years as VP. We nor be mumu.

grin cheesy

I prefer them holding tight unto power that the south will unite more and pursue seperation.

This is a welcome development.

Hahaha!! Tinubu miscalculated this one this time . All our Apc supporters from the SW, How market ? This should teach we southerners to love ourselves if not we will all be consumed by these wolves from the north . The East is selfish , the SW is selfish ,The SS is selfish . At the end of the day we get nothing but these north we all call illiterate and dirty, are 10 times smarter than us . You guys should continue to enjoy the change you all voted into power and foolishly revoted in 2019.

RuudVanNisteroy:

They already cash out by putting 30% Frontier exploration in Northern Basins in the PIB bill while giving 3% to host communities.

In a holistic view, the basins will add value to the Nigerian revenue Bag when the projects completes.
Some southerners think these basins only exist in the north but naaa.It is worthy to educate some of us that, frontier exploration is the process of exploring hydrocarbons (the exploration of crude oil, natural gas, coal, and other energy sources) in the inland basins.

The inland basins consist of the Anambra basin, the lower, middle, and upper Benue trough, the southeastern sector of the Chad basin, the mid-Niger (Bida) basin, and the Sokoto basin.

After 8 years, with Igbo as VP, a northerner shall win again. Nigeria's 36 states political structure with 20 states in Fulani-led north does not permit Igbo or Yoruba or the minority tribes to win presidential election in Nigeria.
OBJ and GEJ presidencies are from political aberrations.

Did they also put the fact that northerners in the military era ruled and ruined the country for donkey years into consideration?

Those people wanna bite what they cannot chew....

And more importantly,if today Nigeria is still down with this "I must rule you by force" mentality,it's better we go out fkkn separate ways.

Fulanis are in panic mode.. Tik tok, times ticking, time for revenge, time for payback ... Fulanis about to cash their savings check with interest and bonus

Just as Abiola defeated Toofa 1993 , Obasanjo defeated Buhari 2003, Goodluck defeated Buhari and Atiku 2011.... Southern candidate would win 2023 easily

Every Fulani's agenda got checkmated

.

Why are you so ignorant? Is Simon Kolawole a Fulani name or is Yahya Bello a Fulani? Can’t you discern that this group was engineered by YB to achieve is DOA dream of being president?

The headline is misleading and you know it. Why blame Fula people for what they know nothing about?

Price of Food and commodity
