Referring to the bolded. Oga anytime you are talking about serious politics as it affect all of us ,Abeg don’t use the childish fight that is happening on Nairaland as yardstick to feel the pulse of the south . Pls, this is a faceless forum and you could be taking the comment of a child or a young teenager to heart.
So many children are here and u should be be able to gauge their sense of maturity from the comments they make .
On the other hand ,some are not who they claim to be . They are just here to cause mischief, becos it’s all a game to them .
The fact that their comments can steer up emotions from nairaland , and keep their controversial thread going is what intrigues them the most . Don’t take so many things you read here to heart .

OBJ tried it but gave up that dream. only the south can hand the villa to the north cos of there infighting. its either the south south or south east. this will draw in others based on equity. anything short of this will help the north to grab power

To play safe
Its best to pick someone from South South

A lot of SW voters wont vote a candidate from SE
A lot of SE voters wont vote a candidate from SW
As shameful as it sounds
There has been animosity between the two

SS should be the compromise

Precarious counting. So they started the counting from 1999 where as the situation that led to their ceding power to the South hurriedly in 1999, was because they had over stayed their time on the seat, almost solely occupying the seat since Independence or determining and controlling directly or indirectly whoever else does. Northern oligarchy will soon fall as their cup of iniquity that kept the nation in perpetual reverse gear is full already. The Nation must move forward!

We told the mumu southern governors with their nonsensical outcomes of their meeting. Why would you make such a childish request when the sympathy was already there for the south to produce the next president under the platform of APC? Though, I don't trust PDP to zone their ticket to the south, na suicide for them!

Fulanis are in panic mode.. Tik tok, times ticking, time for revenge, time for payback ... Fulanis about to cash their savings check with interest and bonus

Just as Abiola defeated Toofa 1993 , Obasanjo defeated Buhari 2003, Goodluck defeated Buhari and Atiku 2011.... Southern candidate would win 2023 easily

Every Fulani's agenda got checkmated

.

No be like real panic mode bro, because they all know the gravity of the atrocities caused by the leader Buhari. The forget that this day would come when Buhari's tenure will finish.

Now they want to remain in power to complete the Fulani agenda.

This should teach we southerners to love ourselves if not we will all be consumed by these wolves from the north . The East is selfish , the SW is selfish ,The SS is selfish . At the end of the day we get nothing but these north we all call illiterate and dirty, are 10 times smarter than us . try visit all parts of the north.
the Fulani's alone don't own the north, yes some greedy northern politician might want to retain the power back to the north but even if they constitute majority they don't have the final say.
Buhari lost to obasabjo, yaradu and Jonathan.
he lost to two southerners, how was it possible if Fulani's own the north?
infact he splited votes in the north with Obasanjo.
people personal interest should not be trusted not an entire region when interest sometimes differ..
Obasanjo and Jonathan won against Buhari because the south were united, check the analysis Buhari had his 12 million votes in all the election and these votes are from the north. The Fulanis are the major stake holders in the North other tribes do their bidding. As it stands now whoever they support wins because of many factors invovled.
I was thinking Tinibu's first move should have been to unite the south, but he went to the north... A very big mistake which is costly.

Thunda faya these people....

Did they also put the fact that northerners in the military era ruled and ruined the country for donkey years into consideration?

Those people wanna bite what they cannot chew....

And more importantly,if today Nigeria is still down with this "I must rule you by force" mentality,it's better we go out fkkn separate ways.
Ibkhaleel:
The North is far bigger in land mass & population than the South.
It has the highest number of states & local governments.
The North has some of the most powerful governors, senators, federal appointees, politicians both serving & retired in Nigeria.
The North also has the richest men & biggest captains of industry in Nigeria.
It has the highest number of military Generals both serving & retired.
The North equally has its fair share of reknown & accomplished academics in Nigeria & abroad in foreign universities.
It has reknown religious scholars & fiery clerics as well as its fair share of unrepentant religious fundamentalists, radicals, hoodlums, criminals & terrorists.
Inspite of all these, watch that whatever positions are zoned to them come 2023, they will choose, present & support their candidate seamlessly with less or no friction, rancour, dirty fight in public or the pages of newspapers & without assassinating each other. They understand politics & leadership. It's no coincidence therefore, that they have what they have. Islam is what regulates them and make them peaceful and never care to address the dirty lies, slander and insults from southerners online.
But you see this presidency of Nigeria Southerners are threatening everybody that they must have come 2023;
this 2023 presidency useless Southern governors & politicians are galivanting up & down insisting they must have -- governors & politicians whose only idea of governance is to issue press statements every month on Fulani herdsmen, cattle grazing & 2023 presidency to distract their gullible state citizens from the resources & allocations of their states they have stolen with nothing to show for it;
you will see how these Southern governors & greedy power drunk Southern politicians will kill & destroy each other just to pick & present one presidential candidate.
Watch how they will burn down the South with insecurity on the eve of 2023 as all these militias, unknown gunmen, Amotekun, Ebube Agu, ESN, OPC, Cult gangs, the various states police & vigilantes in the South will get new sponsors in these Southern governors & politicians as well as new sophisticated weapons from them as they jostle to eliminate each other & weaken the political base of their opponents to be able to pick the presidential ticket for themselves.
The sad shame however is that after destroying themselves, The Southern homeland, wasting the resources of Southern states & the lives of Southern misguided youths just to pick a presidential ticket, they will still turn back & blame the North for the destruction their unbridled greed for power for selfish ends brought on the South.
You see this Southern presidential agitations...
Well, enough said already!

Guy you see the problem with you guys is that you are programed fools...

Your attitude is disgusting you hate us with no reason.

But let me educate you and your fello Igbo crooks... because to me you are all the same and even much closer to them...

Let's go back to our history and let history guide us. There is no strong argument to support the marginalisation of Southerners in Nigeria beyond what exists in the imagination of those who constantly mine the Biafra /oduduea franchise to amass private wealth from brainwashed people and politicians who use same for political bargain. I can conveniently say that you have had the best of Nigeria more than any other tribe. Blackmailing the country with victim mentality is not a strategy.

Today, many Southern politicians and so-called activists built their public credentials on constant agitation for restructuring of Nigeria. If indeed there is anything wrong with the current political structure of the country, the blame should be more on you. Who promulgated the Decree 34 that abolished 1963 Federal Constitution and unitarised the Federal structure? It was Major-General Aguiyi Ironsi as Military Head of State. With scant regard to other tribes, Igbos dominated the security agencies and the Federal civil service in the first Republic. Professor Ben Nwabueze who is now the chief priest of restructuring drafted the unification decree as Legal Counsel to General Ironsi. Igbos who literally ran the Federal Government then executed the unitary arrangement for domination and ethnic advantage.

Who plotted first coup that decimated South West and Northern political establishment? The fallout of that misadventure led to the civil war in 1967. The mainly Igbo officers who masterminded the coup didn't kill any political leader from their tribe. Some Igbo leaders talk about the Civil War as if Nigeria started the war against them. Even with all the noise about all that is supposedly wrong with Nigeria, who are the biggest beneficiaries of Nigeria's diversity today? It is still you. Every part of this country welcomes them. They prosper more across the country outside their ancestral homeland. You play big in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, and Port Harcourt - every part of Nigeria. I need someone to tell me the number of Hausa, Fulani, Yoruba, Ijaw, Kanuri, Tiv man or woman etc that currently have lands, houses or any business that can employ 50 people in any part of South Eastern Nigeria the same way Igbos do in South West, South South and in the North.

Under President Jonathan, the government they seem to have invested heavy emotions more than Jonathan's own Ijaw tribe, Igbos got key federal appointments through Senator Pius Anyim as Secretary to the Government of the Federation. Did other tribes bitterly complain the way Igbos now do over appointments? In any case, which statutory appointments have they been denied by current government despite rejecting President Muhammadu Buhari and his party in 4 elections? Let’s get real here. Igbos really want to get all top appointments in a government they rejected and have shown unimaginable hostility despite the government offering them the best deal in Nigeria in terms of real development no administration offered them since 1960. It is on record Buhari, in two presidential contests, made top Igbo politicians his running mate. Let’s face it. Which government in Nigeria has taken on the quantum of Federal government-funded infrastructural projects that are going on in the South East than this current FG since 1960? If we analyse the Federal Budget from 2016 when President Buhari presented his first budget, the current FG has possibly spent more money developing SE in 6 years than it has done in Buhari's own North West if we consider FG's spend on Infrastructure per region.
It will appear your elites prefer appointments that only benefit individuals and their hangers-on more than real development that benefits majority of citizens of that region.
