Some of these over 7ft basketball players don't really play the sport with passion... Most of them are playing it out of neccesity not really choice...

I believe the offer is on the table for him already, he should put aside the ego and take the offer alongside Olise. Both will bring depth to the Super Eagles midfield.

TheLoneCitizen:

Almeria's primary objective is to break the La Liga 2 transfer record they set last season when they sold Darwin Nunez to Benfica for €24m.

Covid-19 excuse is ruled out since they sold Nunez for that fee at the height of global financial crisis.

Although Darwin Nunez was 21 at the time of sale,

Umar Sadiq is currently worth 5 million more than the Uruguayan, when he was sold, according to Transfermarkt.

Scored more goals and better goal per minute ratio.

Tested in different leagues.

They have also cited the success of Nunez at Benfica as proof that the Segunda division is no fluke.

Almeria are open to selling because they want to free up wages and use the money to strengthen other positions.

Nevertheless, Almeria are one of the toughest negotiators in Spain. They dragged talks for Nunez for several weeks till the final day, and Benfica only finished paperwork four days after transfer window had closed.

Umar sadiq is an African so you should know that Núñez will be more expensive than him and umar sadiq is more older

38 year old Daniel alves will be playing at the Olympic this week ,we can understand that this one of the most decorated player in football that has won it all apart from the World Cup ,he knows the importance of the Olympic just as most Nigerians do .

But many hypocrite Nigerians will say Olympic gold doesn’t matter because their so called goat hasn’t won it

Glasgow Rangers academy product Dapo Mebude opened his goalscoring account for Premier League new boys Watford as they defeated Colchester United in two training ground matches on Saturday, July 17.

The Golden Boys announced the capture of the Scotland youth international on a 2+2 year deal nine days ago.

Watford manager Xisco Muñoz has been running the rule over Mebude in pre-season with a view to drafting him into the first team squad in the new season.

Aged 19, the British-Nigerian starlet is eligible to be registered in Watford's squad list for the Premier League as he is classed as an U21 player.

In the first of the 60-minute games at London Colney, Watford beat Colchester United 2-1 with Mebude doubling the advantage in the 17th minute when he sent a cross-shot into the bottom corner.

Watford earned a hard-fought 3-2 win over Millwall in their first pre-season friendly and defeated Colchester 2-0 in the second match on Saturday.

Two Nigeria internationals Oghenekaro Etebo and Emmanuel Dennis have made a switch to the Hornets in the summer transfer window.

SCORENigeria can exclusively report that Premier League clubs Leeds United and Aston Villa were also interested in signing Kano-born Alhassan Yusuf before he finally sealed his transfer to ambitious Belgian club Antwerp.

A top source who is familiar with the midfielder’s transfer negotiations told SCORENigeria: “Yes, there was late interest from Aston Villa and even a meeting with Leeds United for Alhassan Yusuf.

“But the negotiations between IFK Goteborg and Antwerp were far advanced as the Swedish club were desperate to sell as the player only had a year left on his contract and next year he could walk away a free agent.”

SCORENigeria further gathered that Yusuf’s case may even have been discussed at the board level at Leeds.

Interestingly, the midfielder, who has been widely compared to N’Golo Kante, has interested several Premier League clubs in recent times even though he has yet to represent Nigeria at any international level.

Linus Petersson of Swedish newspaper Goteborgs-Posten said Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United made offers for Yusuf previously.

“Sheffield United made an offer, but Gothenburg refused,” the journalist revealed.

“In the summer of 2019, he was in the radar of Wolverhampton, but his work permit stood in the way of a transfer.”

Newly promoted Brentford were also recently linked to the former FC Hearts star.

“There was a lot of interest initially when he broke through (the first team). Since then, it has probably become a little smaller, partly based on the team’s performance but also that people might have expected more from him when it started so well,” further explained IFK Goteborg sports director Pontus Farnerud.

Iyayi Atiemwen, who shone in last season’s UEFA Europa League with giant killers Dinamo Zagreb, has joined Super Eagles star Shehu Abdullahi at Cypriot club Omonia Nikosia.

The 25-year-old right winger has been shipped out on a season-long loan by Dinamo Zagreb.

There is an option to buy the player, whose transfer market value is put at 1.5 Million Euros.

Omonia clinched their 21st league championship last season.

Interestingly, Atiemwen could clash with his parent club as early as Tuesday when Dinamo Zagreb welcome Omonia to a UEFA Champions League qualifier.

However I read an article about walking trees like him and BB and what I saw was that the excessive height might be a curse than a blessing for basketball based on some other guys that tall. It is said at that height, those few guys are usually not so athletic and they could also suffer from severe injuries. Case in point is China's Ming almost 8ft tall but BB was just not for him and some other Iroko trees too.
