I saw him during the game and wondered if he was of Nigerian descent. I thought he played well and was quite aggressive with rebounding on both ends, I think he had more than 6 rebounds.
He also moved his feet well and did well defending #slimreaper and other perimeter players. He did attempt two three point shots at one point but I don’t think that’s his game if he wants to be a stretch 5.

Just last year, Giannis was being flogged in the media. Couldnt make free throws, no jumpshots, cant read double teams and they lost disgracefully in the first round I think. One year later the cat has a serviceable fadeaway, makes his free throws and is unguardable. All this without any superstar additions - just decent PG and good defensive minded PF. He definitely will make a lot of people look bad.

You can always argue that without injuries, the super teams like Clippers, Lakers and Nets would have been in the finals, but that is why we play the games

Yep. He's a very fine basketballer, forget his shortcomings (which are very forgivable compared to what he does well). You don't win MVP ×2 and DPOY if you can't ball. Giannis could easily have teamed up with a guy like Luka in Dallas and won multiple championships. But he stayed, and everything fell in place for him to be in a position to win a championship. And trust me he's not done in this league. He'll win more, whether with the Bucks or elsewhere.

Outside of shooting some ill advised 3’s, Giannis has been a beast. Maybe this is the Giannis I have always wanted to see (play around your strength, leave all the other stuff). He is dominating the boards and that affected the Suns in the 1st Q. He is definitely playing for his career here tonight! Khris is a slow starter, it won’t shock me if he comes alive in the 4th. The Suns have continued with their late game 5 adjustment on Jrue and that is replicating size on Jrue with Bridges/Jay. The Bucks need some else not named Giannis to come alive offensively.

Took him a while but CP3 seems to have gotten his rhythm. He absolutely needs to cut the TO for the Suns to stand any chance of taking this back to Phoenix. They are playing with a better pace and not making shots deep into the shot clock. The Suns have to keep the pace up and run early. The Suns have to put pressure on Khris Middleton and cause him to play some defense with his 3 fouls.

This is far from over.. but I am loving it..

Really Enjoying this game thus far. Really fascinating encounter though I'd hate to be either a Suns or Bucks supporter because my heart won't be able to take it . Unless one of Khris or Jrue steps it up, this series looks like it's going to a Game 7.
