In Immigration, staff can be posted in Nigeria mission overseas. I don't know what rank they post there but I am very certain that in all Nigerian Embassies overseas there must be an Immigration Attache', a deputy Attache' and some other few immigration staff to assist in passport application, passport renewal and visa application. There are more than 100 countries around the world where Nigeria is officially present.

Nigeria have about 80 official border crossing. With immigration staff fully present. Nigeria sea ports and airports are staffed with immigration personnel. Passport offices are present in all state capitals in Nigeria. I don't know which of the posting is more juicy. You can be lucky to serve in a good location though.

To me, I prefer immigration to Civil defense.

1: Civil defense has promotion issues and there are backlogs salary they are owing their staff.
2: With immigration, you can be favoured and be in one of the passport office or airport and be making your cool money jẹjẹ.

NB: This new civil defense CG is planning to make things cool for his staff shaaa... Just reason am well and also be prayerful about your choice. May God see you through.

Among the four Agencies under interior I guess immigration is the Leading agency and most reputable due to revenue generation for FG. Federal Govt gives more attention to Revenue generating Agency

Thanks for this insight, it confirmed what I have heard from Many sources that immigration ranked the top leading paramilitary in Nigeria wen it comes careers progression, smooth coordination of internal affairs/activities etc. Even my sister in Correctional (prison service) always mentions it.

The nomenclature you are using to refer to the list is the problem.

They don't publish list. They send messages.

The candidate of the politicians, some of them didn't attend the screening, some didn't even apply for the job, but they will collect appointment letter with regular candidates. Some bought the job with their cash. They will also collect the appointment letter. I won't argue with anybody. The reality is that the candidates of the politicians will collect appointment letter regardless of whether they attended the screening or not.
