No one can tell. According to IRCC, they have backlogs of Medicals to clear and whenever they process anyone, it will be updated in the person's page. So what you will do is to send reminder in form of e-Medical sheet to IRCC through Webform.

Hello everyone,
I read earlier that non-vaccinated travelers will no longer need the 3 days mandatory hotel stop over from August 9, 2021.

Unfortunately I have booked for mine last week Tuesday and I read that the payments for my hotel reservation are non-refundable, what do you y’all suggest I do now.

Ps: I’ve booked my flight for August 18th.

Who said Non- Vaccinated travellers would not need hotel stop over? It's a lie. Even if you are fully Vaccinated, you must book for the hotels and show the evidence at your point of entry, otherwise you will pay about $CAD 5000. The decision to or not be eligible for exemption is the prerogatives of the officers at the Point of Entry, it's not automatic.

^^^Sorry about this, I think I am not informed well on it.

Since it’s non refundable just do the quarantine and enjoy your money

if there is any serious concern in your Medicals, the Qlife will not forward it to IRCC. They will first let you know, so you treat it and then, do your Medicals again. That's where upfront Medicals become important.

With this statistics, why still ask Nigerians for IELTS?
We even have more English speakers than the countries asking us for IELTS....

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Jadel03: 11:56am On Jul 21, 2021
I stand to be corrected, but I think the 3 day mandatory hotel bookings are no longer required if you arrive on or after 9th of August 2021 fully vaccinated or not. However if you are arriving before the 9th of August 2021, you would need the 3 days compulsory hotel booking.

For those who are not fully vaccinated, you are required to show your quarantine plans for for 14 days when you arrive on or after 9th of August, 2021.

Now for those who are fully vaccinated, you are also to show your quarantine plans for 14 days incase the officer determines you are not eligible to be a full-vaccinated traveller when you arrive on or after 9th of August 2021.

In summary, the 3 day hotel booking is compulsory if you are arriving before the 9th of August 2021. However if you are arriving on or after 9th August 2021, have your 14 days quarantine plans ready fully vaccinated or not.

IELTS is not mandatory neither is it required to confirm that you speak English. It's just a prerequisite for faster processing of your application. If you go through normal route you still have same chances of being approved.

Many thanks for this advice valuable. I have paid through a brother in UK and have created a virtual card on flutterwave for future payments. Many thanks

Make sure you make this payment yourself. Don't be pressured to use someone to pay. You will be toying with 5 years ban cos 99% of them request for charge back and ircc will knock you with 5 years ban.

If you can't be patient enough to open domicillary account. Try barter by flutterwave.
Download barter app from playstore, generate virtual card and fund it.

Someone hired Lawyer cos of chargeback of $235 CAD and he's defending himself with $8000 in Canadian court in just few threads back here. At this point, I can't allow my bloods to make payment for me.

Most of them will come back to threaten and blackmail you.

Sorry, I dey put fear for your body. Naxo the matter be. grin
