The devaluation of the naira to the dollar officially from 360 to around 420 or 500 in the parallel market is responsible.

Firstly the problem is importing everything we use 90% which had depreciate Naira. secondly is corruption of distributors to wholesalers to retailers. the consumer everything. some agricultural products are cost because of insecurity e.g like Ram is very cost this year. another factor is high tax from government etc. our problem is many In Nigeria. may Allah help us

I think u should remove that "low oil price" stuff, past governments have done well even with low oil prices; I think what we're suffering now is due to very bad government policies, humongous hidden corruption going on, another humongous insecurity in the land and maybe I could add the after effects of covid 19. Note: the rest of ur opinions are correct though but I strongly disagree with that "oil price"

On the contrary, number 5 is rise in all price to a 3 year high accompanied by a devaluation of the naira, makes the common man worse for it.

Sadly our elites are not disturbed maybe cos its not really affecting them.
They r concerned about 2023, heard some bigwigs in abia state decamped to apc so they can align with the centre.
Yesterday garba shehu said buhari is more popular now than ever irrespective of what the opposition party is saying.
My brother,according to femi adesina, those who r hungry now are pdp people, if u r in apc u can never be hungry. My advice is for u to locate the nearest apc secretariat and collect a membership card.

No one is talking about it because Nigerians,despite having many intelligent people and being well exposed and bragging how tough and stubborn they are outside,have perhaps the most cowardly set of humans on earth.
If 1/10th of the havoc Buhari has caused in Nigeria were to happen in many other countries,hell would have been let lose.
Petrol price increase that was a taboo b4 he came,has been increased by about 70%!Electricity by 100%!Cement by more than 100%,bread by about 150-200%,and general food items across board by at least 70%.These are essential household items,not talking of cars, building materials,transport,etc.
All over the country,there is un-contested insecurity.
Even the lie he told of fighting corruption;corruption is now almost an accepted way of life.Kidnappings is now an established business.
We must come to tell ourselves the truth,there is no way this country would be better because the collective to do what is right is not there.Each person that makes it does it out of sheer luck and or connections.
Nigeria is doomed and the foundation of that doomness has been set by Buhari because the next goverment now knows it can do anything and get away with it,unlike the previous notion that there is a limit to which Nigerians can tolerate some things.

. Nawao... And our income is not increasing!! Till when is someone suppose to endure all this?..
Government is cutting cost, not paying salaries on time, increasing and creating unnecessary VAT and yet inflation is still dealing with the little that is left for the citizens to manage!

1- insecurity. A lot of farmers can’t go to the farm.

2- infrastructural deficit- a lot of the produced goods are perishable and a lot got wasted due to lack of preservation. Infact there’s nothing can be done without ELECTRICITY

3- lack of visionary leaders- what are our politicians doing to checkmate the rising price of food items?

All Nigerians should just brace up for the worst. The price gonna keep going up, unless buhari done something ASAP. But what can Buhari do?
