If op had started by saying he is asking advice on a hypothetical situation he wants to narrate,not bad.

I would have swallowed it too assuming he did not say that he travelled in 2020...Based on my little experience, for any tourist to be granted a visa, they will be looking at your bank statement to know if you have enough to sustain u… because they do not want anyone to be a nuisance to the host country….

Another thing is what the individual does for a living…. They will like to know if the individual(s) will come back to the job/ career at the expiration date of the visa or if he/she will disappear…Op said he gave all he has to his girl friend's uncle… so there’s nothing in his account… he does not have a company that he was running/ operating, ( because he has sold everything).. so his chances of getting a visa is very slim…

Again the boarders were closed for tourist except citizens of those countries that were coming back… so did he use a broom to fly to South Africa?..... That’s why I did not buy the story …

Abi o; the bulk of stories on NL these days are nothing but tell-tales, fictitious and fake stories. I go just read some stories come shake my head say this one na fake story na as it's so obvious. The narrators seems to have so much time on thier hands and rather than using that time to do better things, they'll rather spend it on writing fake and fictitious stories to entertain NLanders and to increase NL site views.

Please I will like to apologize in advance incase anyone sees fault in my English. I have been overthinking lately about my girlfriend. We have been dating for the past 3 years now and she has been a very good girl to me, but one thing I don’t understand is that she has been a gumbody since day one. Fast forward 2019 I sold all my stuff to travel out of the country, I can see she was not happy about that but I promise her to be back soon to come take her with me. Later when I arrived that country something happened and I have to rush back to Nigeria. And when I arrived back here I don’t have where to stay cos I already sold all my properties including my car. My only option was to stay in an inexpensive hotel for 3 months till I can think of what next to do. I told this my girlfriend about everything that happened to me over there and she came and still stay with me all through the stay at the hotel, before she was either staying in her father house or mother house. After 3 months at the hotel I sold some of my bitcoins and some money from my tipper truck business I bought another car And was able to get a duplex at Lekki and we moved in together living like a couple, she’s knows I do cheat and we argued about that most times when she comes back from her parents house and begin count the remaining condoms. Fast forward 2020 I was thinking big and thinking of expanding my empire by investing more looking at my Benz I think it is a liability and I don’t need to compete with most people on island to live a meaningful life. I sold it and save the money. I have always wanted to own a oil & gas investment for a long time. I sold everything I had, my car, uncompleted building, my truck business, all my bitcoins and other stuffs I can’t remember and was trying to get quotes from engineers to start my journey into the oil and gas sector. Me and my girlfriend were always arguing cos she wants her uncle to get the contract, I was trying to tell her I don’t trust her uncle maybe he will try to outsource it too I don’t know. After getting ridiculous quotes from all the companies I was able to agree to giving her uncle the contract. I transferred all the money I got from selling all I had to this her uncle and he vanished with the money and even gave me poison the last time I meet him but thank God no poison can affect me but I later know he gave me poison after collecting my life savings. I tried to report him to IRT squad in Abuja but I think the guy has come kind of juju which make it hard to track him so I give up wasting more money to get him down. I had to breakup with my girlfriend and she told me she never know her uncle to be like this and even all her family were surprise and cursing him. We broke up and she left my place I was alone with my though cos I was broke and can’t even Renew my house rent cos it’s very expensive. So I have to sell everything in the house to raise some money and I traveled to South Africa for 6 months to cool off my head. When I arrived back in Nigeria I couldn’t afford Lekki house anymore my best option was to Sangotedo which I got a flat to start my life over again and think of what Else to do after selling my remaining land. This my girlfriend shows up again and I forgive her, I told her we can’t live together anymore but she knows my weakness by cooking my favorites cos she knows I can’t cook and I really like home mad food cos it makes me feel relax. The bombshell of this story is that she’s now pregnant with my baby and I don’t know what to do cos I am not ready to marry or carry any father responsibilities until I can get my life back together. I am thinking maybe she should just stay at her parent house and I will see what I can help her with once in a while cos I can’t involved myself in any form of abortion. Please I need advice on what steps to take. I am depressed already and don’t want more depression. I already throw away my life and now begging for it back. So painful �
