My job; International seaman working on ships
My Monthly salary? 1.5m

How long have you been working? 7 yrs

How much do you have in your account? 10 million

How much will this trip cost you? Dont know

How long are you staying? 2 / 3 weeks

Are you married? Yes

Do you have children? Not yet

Please this is my above little info.
What are my chances and where do I start, ? Can we get visa by August? I wish to use fast track..if possible because I have 4 months to stay before going back to work?

We dont have kids yet, so only my job and a piece of land not yet built is our strong ties.. ..? Can this be an issue?

Please and help me shed more light on the questions carefully

You have to know how much you are willing to spend in the UK. 3m ngn is not bad. Add your tenancy agreement, shares, investments, land ,wedding picture etc. I strongly believe that you are good to go. It will also Nice if you write that you couldn't do your honeymoon because of covid, that you want to do it now

I used access bank for my POF.
Why don't you download it from the online app, its easier, faster and legible. Thats what I use for my application.

DOK987:
Morning house, please who has used Access bank for POF? Was it colored or black and white? The bank statement I plan to use has the bank logo in black and white meaning they printed with black and white printer. Is this okay as ukvi might think it is a photocopy or not authentic.

Use hotel booking. I dont use invitation to support my application. The truth is that their prefer Hotel booking because you are contributing to their economy. When you get the visa you can always stay wherever you want
thanks dear , I appreciate

Oh nice. I just thought the bank will have given a more presentable statement as it will be stamped and includes some other details that aren't in the app version

Urgent !!!
Please I intend to collect my travel document (visa outcome) tomorrow. The email requests photographic ID and a copy of it. However, the only ID I have now is the international passport which they're with. I have the checklist stapled to a copy of my international passport (the one we get after submitting the biometrics), will this be enough to get the documents? How do I go about this?

Hello house just curious

I applied for my mum and dad to come visit me in the U.K. for holiday and I am the sponsor , they both applied together as a family using the flexi appointment but separate forms as usual. I have been tracking it and I can see that my dad application says it has been transferred back to VAC for passport pickup but my mum application is still with DMC. And I have not received any rejection email cos I used my email for their applications. So just curious , is it possible their case was treated differently? Thanks
the cases were treated differently. Flexi appointment is a TLS service and thats where it ends—- TLS.

Hello house,

Kudos to the contributors, I have a question as regards the UK visitor's visa. I am going for a 6month research attachment program in the UK, my current institution is funding half of the expenses. As part of the documents to be submitted, I was asked to provide 'Evidence that your sponsor is not, or will not be, in breach of UK immigration laws at the time of your visit', what does this mean? Which document(s) can I use to fulfil the requirement.

Thanks.

Hello gurus, please is a N500,000 monthly income sufficient for a UK tourist visa? Note that i did my masters in the UK and i was refused 3 years ago due to inability to prove funds. I also run just my salary account so there are other credits asides my salary.
I also do not pay tax, will this be an issue?

Kindly assist me thank you.

Hi guys,
Who has used Royal air Maroc recently? I need answers on the following:
1. Do they have specific clinics for their covid test?
2. Do they require any form of visa for Nigerians transiting through Morocco?
3. Any other important information?

Used them for a recent trip to Casablanca.

1. No
2. No, you wouldn't leave the airport though unless you have a Moroccan visa or travelling on a non-Nigerian passport (i.e. a country whose passport guarantees visa on arrival)
3. Naah pretty short flight to Casablanca for your connecting, some airport lounges are open so you can chill there

Lol how am I lying? I don’t understand, even if you call hmrc, do you think hmrc will give me my Ni number over the phone considering I am calling from Africa. I worked 12 years ago and not 10 years ago, I only came back 8 years ago and if you studied accounting you will know most firms don’t keep accounting records for more than 7 years . Don’t call me a liar just because I asked a question on this forum

These things are hard to get if you are not in the uk, I am sure if I was in the uk , I would have been able to fill a form and send it to a tax office or walk into job centre to get this information.

Don’t call people liars , it doesn’t speak well of you. After all if you wanted to answer you would have answered me since.
Just because someone asked you a question, you just think you are mr know it all. Wisdom is profitable to direct, use it please.
Iv been away so did not reply you earlier.
You misunderstood.I am not calling you a liar and am too polite to call you one even if you were.I was speaking from the point of view of the case officer and their tick sheets.I should have put it in quotation marks my apologies.

Good day @tutu,justwise and all, my 76 years old aunt was denied visa on the strength of her financial status.(she didn't include her account,as she hasn't been using one for several years now. She gets her upkeep in cash)
No room for appeal or administrative review.
We got a lawyer to write the embassy,on the strength that the son who is the sponsor had enough money in his account.
Please advise and help with details of where lawyer will send protest letter to.
Victoria Island was the biometric center
Will appreciate any input

It’s sad that this has happened.
Perhaps he should put her on a monthly allowance and henceforth pay into her bank account then try again in 6months?.
Was financial status the only reason given?.
The refusal letter/mail should have contact details on there but like you say no grounds for appeal or administrative review so a letter might not do much.

500k a month is more than enough. For UK visa no information is too much. You have to explain all the inflows into your account. For me I wrote a summary in the box provided in the visa and I also had to write a personal letter , explaining the details of my allowances that was paid or other inflows aside my monthly salary. I contribute to Ajo monthly. I also explained that Bleep amount leaves my account monthly to the Ajo company. I got the Ajo company to write that they have my money with them. . I have never applied for visa with up to 100k in my account. But I always get all the investment and savings company to give me letter addressed to the embassy that I have my savings with them. My company also gives me introduction letter, that I am there staff and entitled to xx days vacation a year. Add all your shares certificates, landed properties, tenancy agreement etc.
