hi hi,

Has anyone traveled from UK to Naija with Air France recently? i hear there is a transit visa one needs.. how easy is it to get?

Also, Nigeria where you do covid test on Day7, what if the Day7 falls on a weekend or you're to travel back to the UK on Day 8 or 9.. can you use the same Day7 PCR since it is within 72hrs of departure from Nigeria?

I would say yes.
I know someone who used their day 8 (in the UK) to travel back to Nigeria ( because the day 8 sample was taken less than 96 hours prior to departure). So yes. 1 bird to kill 2 stones.

Unconditional offers? I guess getting original certificate is a must, really trying to skip that.

A student trying to skip the provision of certificate?
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Preshyi: 11:38pm On Jul 22, 2021
My question was if statement of result can suffice. If it can then why do I need to travel miles to go get the original certificate. Everything no be fight. Read to understand and not just to respond.

Sorry I believe the PCR tests will be posted the next working day. If it is a pcr test to travel by post, they normally ship it the next working day, same as the day 2 and 8. The reason they ask for these dates is that they take account into the posting of the test to you and your return of the test to the lab, they use that to see if the order can be processed. The only test they send out the day before your test is due is the test to release which is timed for the 5th day(govt set strict rules this should get to the patient minimum day 4, but some F"~k ups happens with the posting).
I know this for 2 reasons my pharmacy where I work I deal with these questions every single day but the cheapest pcr test by post is "randox health" booked these for my parents and sister inlaws.

I have ordered for my day 2 an 8 tests (PCR) and it will be delivered the day after my arrival date. Probably this is different for the lab I used.

Life in the northern part of UK is slow and calm. Fewer Nigerians around here, but most of the jobs are care jobs, nursing and cleaning jobs.

If you’re looking for a place to come for soft landing where there’s security and affordable rent, consider Cumbria.

My people! Where are you in cumbria, your observation is absolutely true

Bro, let ur wife proceed with her own application while u figure out urs. When you finally get all the required documents for the previous application you can then send in your own.

Hello my people, pls i need to know if it's possible to switch course within the same higher education provider that issued me CAS.
I applied for MSc cyber security (a course I reallyyyy wanted to pursue) and got a conditional offer but the fear of raising any inquisition about academic/work progression in my visa application made me refrain from pursuing it (also cause it was highlighted on my GCMS note as reason for my canada study refusal so I didn't want to risk it or make the same mistake with UKVI). I settled for Msc Forensic Accounting cause my undergraduate and Professional degree is in Accounting.
Now that I have my Visa, is there any chance of me switching to this course without any consequence. Or I should just jejely face front with my Msc Forensic Accounting??.
cc@justwise your input would be highly appreciated too pls.

You should have stuck with it. The UK does not care about your first degree as long as the school gave you admission. I am not sure what the process is for switching but since CAS is involved, the school will have to withdraw the CAS while the one you are switching to will issue you a new CAS which I believe you need to send to UKBA. Goggle it or ask on the student visa thread.

Some schools allow this while some don't, i suggest to speak to your university when you get to the UK and see what their policy is regarding switching course.

It may not work if they have gotten the required number of students for that particular course .
