Please gurus in the house I need reply to this.

Cc: Makano, Frankrobbn1

Kriptune:
Thank you very much.

To support my family ties, I wanted to send my dad’s old contract award letter with the state government, his company’s CAC and the particulars of directors to prove he owns the company and has handled a top government contract, meanwhile this is the same company where I work and My dad isn’t funding my education. Will this raise a red flag?

Secondly, I want to attach birth certificates of my siblings, but not all are available. Should I go ahead with the ones I have or just skip this.

Your biggest concern should be home tie. That bank statement is not an issue. It's always difficult to get approval in a country when you're not a permanent resident, which implies you're not very established in the country.
The bold statement is wrong. The most important thing is having the legal right to stay in the country you are before applying. In this case, the applicant has a resident permit which is valid, so he or she is good to go without any difficulty.

PPR Alert! (Sister's application) April 26 Applicant

Timeline coming soon...

In the mean time, I need help sending the pp to the Vac office.

1) Can she send her pp to Abuja (note, biometric was done in Lagos).

2) Saw this on the website "the visa application centre (VAC) fees (VACs charge service fees to send your passport to the visa office);
"
How much is she expected to pay or is this fee the same as the biometric fee?

3) Is a return envelope needed when sending the pp or we have to pay the VAC 1 way courier fee (N12,750)?

Like I said earlier I don’t have a Dubai bank statement but I can provide one from my nigeria bank account so if I am to apply from here and do the medical, IELTS et al, does it make sense if I use a nigeria bank statement and what’s a GIC please?
You should also try to submit your Dubai visa to show eligibility and make sure it’s a visiting or work visa that hasn’t elapsed its period. This is because the VO might be convinced that you got a visa to another country and then you didn’t leave the country so what’s the certainty you would leave Canada after you’re done with your plans.

Please I need info on the computer based IETLS... can someone who has done it tell me how it works, i have an exam on Saturday and I just realized it’s Computer-based sad
There's no much to it actually, you'll be properly guided.

In my opinion, it's better than the paper based...

For W, you'll clearly be typing, as against writing with pencils if it were the paper-based.

Bombaclat!! 60K application fee ain't a joke

With your 2.2 , you can easily get admission to a college for a Post Graduate Certificate (PG. Cert.) program, that being said;

Are you interested in going for a Program related to your Degree or related to your Job experience? If yes,
- what did you studied in the University?
- What year did you graduate ? (To address study gap)
- What is the name of your Job, and what are your Job duties? (To know if your Job is related to tour Degree)

Your Response to the above questions would enable you get specialized PG. Cert program suggestions from this platform
Securing admission in Canada is not easy at all
@Lekiboboe, please suggest courses
and colleges/universities for someone following;
BSc Accounting (2/2, 2008)
Msc Policy Analysis (2016)
ANAN (2017)
Over 10 years work experience as an Internal Auditor in a Federal Government agency.
I need to get an admission ASAP.
THANK YOU

Difficult doesn't mean impossible. So I still stand by my statement. If you read other Canadian visa forums, you will realize it's difficult for an expatriate to get study permit. I've read GCMS notes of Indians living in UAE and Saudi. I mean once you're already residing in a more developed country, it means you're already seeking better economic opportunities so that situation makes home tie harder to prove.
