It's just one reason. Request GCMS note first.

When you refire

1. Pay tuition
2. Show sufficient proof of relationship to sponsor.
3. Make sure a minimum of 10,000 CAD is deposited into your personal account from your sponsor's account... And then explain that in your LOE.
I paid half tuition, my sponsor is father and I even did a letter of sponsorship and affidavit too
How can I order my notes?

It's usually between 2-3 months after the expiration date of application for the program one applied for.

Ohk. I'm applying for a January start and the deadline for application is August 1st. Then it means that I should be expecting a feedback between October and November if I'm going by your "between 2-3 months" interval.

With the visa processing delay that I'm reading here I doubt resuming in January may not be possible.

Hmmm.

Maybe it was because of the chargeback issue. God will do it the second time.

Please a quick question! I submitted my application July 6 ! But right now my dad just got back from dubai and I have so many landed documents I didn’t submit in the first place . The question is can I add additional documents to boost my application through webform without any consequences?

so i was refused for this same reason in my first application.

If you could take a cue, in my notes, it was as though the visa officer tried to say i did not provide evidence of my financial status. till today, i still say i cant understand the vo's concerns cos i knew that was not true. but i figured the nse request may have been the deal breaker. I got the request but responded that i couldnt provide it, i did not state a reason. cos for me i felt, you guys have my bank statement, fixed deposits, pension statements, mutual fund statement. thats enough. lol.

I honestly did not want to break my fixed deposit. lol

Although i havent gotten PPR but i am hopeful, so what i did differently was to make my mum a co-sponsor (my uncle was my main sponsor for my first application), the money she paid, i used it to immediately pay my tuition so i paid like 85% of my tuition and i still had over 30k cad cash (liquidated into my bank this time) from my first application intact.

I showed all this using the mybankstatement i kuku did not want to provide the first time. lol. i did mybankstatements for my sponsor and myself.

i will recommend you wait for your notes but pending the time, it does not hurt to pay more tuition if not all while you wait.
But i have learnt from research, they really like liquid cash over fixed deposit and the likes. goodluck though

Haaa

In this case, you may have to do GIC. Maybe they have doubts that the money will be released.

What is the cost of half tuition? If it is not much, then that may not be convincing enough for them. In that case, paying full tuition is advisable.

Hello Everyone

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a passport request after the primary applicant has gotten it?

I applied with my daughter but her passport is yet to be requested for.

Since you just applied July 6, it's not bad to add additional documents. Any document you think will enhance your standing, you can send through Webform and the Visa Officer will receive it.

This is tricky o. Are you allowed to work more than the 20 hrs per week while studying? Even if the work is not in canada? I'm not sure sha. Maybe the gurus in the house can confirm.
patty10:
I really need more on this. I am self sponsored, I have paid my school fees in full and also have a balance of about $20k. I am working but I didn’t get a study leave, however I submitted a letter from my boss recommending me for study and saying I am welcome to continue working part time as I school. Is this ok?

Hello all,

I came for work in North Edmonton. Abeg i need help with accommodation till 1st week in September. Anyone I can stay with please? .....
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Oyesquare10: 5:56pm On Jul 26, 2021
If your program is 1 year and you mean you have paid the school fees in full, I think you are good to go. However, if it's more than one year, you need to show means of paying for the subsequent years and it needs to be valid and reasonable. Else, you could be refused for not having enough fund to sustain yourself for the whole program. My sister was refused on this.

this may be a red flag. i may be wrong. so while you are studying, and probably working in canada for 20 hours, you will still have an obligation to your employer here. i mean, its abit off. if you did not get a study leave, the alternative is to prove how you can easily reintegrate when you get back or your employer even writing that they will be willing to give you your job back or something.

Wait for your notes first sha.

It's possible the VO made a mistake. But we may never know until the notes arrive.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Oyesquare10: 6:04pm On Jul 26, 2021
I think this also depends on his income annually

Omankem8:

I beg to disagree. If you're self sponsored, try to pay one year tuition, have enough funds for one year. If you have more, better. If you work, and you're on a study leave with pay, that covers it all. If you can fund a GIC, do so, if not, it's also fine.

Does your sponsor have other dependents?

If he does, that's the reason.

8 million naira is small if sponsor has other dependents.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by RollyA(f): 6:06pm On Jul 26, 2021
you need 10k cad for first year plus your tuition balance, do the maths. did your sponsor have more than enough especially to take care of himself, ideally maybe logically another 4-5m separately and/or hes making income monthly for upkeep?

8million

Hmmm... This scares me cos I have my POF in mutual funds and bonds. That can be liquidated at the earliest instance.

This should have been enough considering that it was dad that sponsored you.
Please give full details of your application.
1. Duration of your program
2. Tuition fee per year
3. Dependents of your dad
