Russia is too greedy with the landmass and total area it is claiming for itself, how can 80m people stake a claim to over 17 millions kilometers square of land area in this world? Putting it in perspective, Nigeria is just 924k kilometers square occupying over 200m people. In addition to this, Russia has annexed Crimea from Ukraine and still claiming more territories, reason for standoff with Western powers. Russia is only building all these weapons as a deterrent to any country that might want to challenge its claim to these large expanses of lands in future.
