Nnamdi kanu Lawyers Take A Bold Step To Grant Him Freedom Before Next Hearing October 21

Lawyers who are representing the proscribed separatist leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu, said they have begun continental legal action against Nigeria and Kenya at the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights.
This is coming after the Nigerian government failed to present Kanu at the court to continue his trial on treason and terrorism related charges.

The lawyers said that they demand accountability from the countries for what they claimed to be illegal transfer or handing over of their client without due process of extradition.

Kenya government has since denied the story saying that they have a hand in the arrest and eventual deportation of the Independent People of Biafra leader to Nigeria

The lawyers want Nnamdi Kanu to return back to Kenya as a free man and a British citizen as they noticed that the absence of any successful extradition proceedings in Kenya, the Nigerian bench warrant which stand against Kanu is invalid and he could not be arrested in Kenya.
