The Nigerian Army HQNigerianArmy on Monday engaged some assailants terrorising Enugu State, killed them and recovered several weapons and ammunition in the process.

From my own view, it could be the NPF or DSS. Probably during an ambush.

The US’ Chargé d’Affaires Kathleen FitzGibbon said this during the inspection of the newly arrived first six American Sierra Nevada Corporation/Embraer Defense and Security A-29 “Super Tucano” Light Attack aircraft on Tuesday.

A statement by United States Diplomatic Mission to Nigeria quoted FitzGibbon as saying that the aircraft represented a historic level of cooperation achieved between the U.S. and Nigerian militaries

The Super Tucano platform for Nigeria is the United States’ largest Foreign Military Sales program in Sub-Saharan Africa, valued at almost $500 million. This program follows the Department of Defense’s “Total Package Approach” model and includes spare parts for several years of operation, contract logistics support, munitions, and a multi-year construction project to improve Kainji’s infrastructure.

They don't decapitate the head now, it's been long. Most and recent propaganda videos they shoot now, they shoot the captured soldier from the back.

Considering it's Nigerian police....I wouldn't be surprised if some where innocent, like the case of the other man that came for burial or the one that was shot, but was going or coming from church

Police that shot someone and is pinning it on someone else from the protests in Lagos.

70% of the crisis we have in Nigeria is directly or indirectly linked to the Nigerian police.

Not ruling out the facts that it can happen, we all look down on this police officers like they are some kind of dumb individuals who just pick innocent people on every operation they embark on. C'mon man
Apart from the guy that went for burial, did the church goers make a statement or provide evidence to this effect ?

Soldiers on Tuesday prevented traders at the Timber and Building Materials markets in Orlu, Imo State, to open for the day’s business.

Most of the traders in the two markets had on Monday refused to open their shops in solidarity with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who is facing terrorism-related charges at the Federal High court in Abuja.

The soldiers, who were manning a checkpoint close to the two big markets in Orlu, barred the traders from opening their shops for any commercial activity.

Our correspondent was told by the traders that the soldiers ordered the gatemen at the entrances of the two big markets not to open the gates.

While the military continued with their stop and search duty in front of the two markets, traders who came as early as 7am met the entrance gates of the two markets under lock and key.

One of the traders told The PUNCH that he was unable to access his shop on Tuesday when he came for the day’s engagement.

The trader, who didn’t want his identity revealed, said, “Yesterday, almost everybody didn’t open for business in solidarity with Nnamdi Kanu. As we came today, soldiers prevented us from opening the two markets. We didn’t even get into the markets because the gates to the building materials and Timber Market were under lock and key. The soldiers told us that we won’t be allowed to open shop till further notice.”

The chairman of markets, Emmanuel Ibegbulem, who confirmed the development to our correspondent in a telephone conversation, said that he was on his way to the state ministry of commerce and industry.

The spokesperson for the 34 Artillery Brigade Command, Obinze Owerri, Babatude Zubiruo, when contacted, said that he was not aware of the development.

The Nigeria Police have killed and Paraded thousands of innocent Nigerians.

That is the reason Nigeria are always doubtful on Police raiding.
