Hmmm. Nice one.
Even when crude oil barrel price was being sold at and over $100 and PDP was ruling both the Cross Rivers state and the federal, this kind of strategic infrastructure was neither considered nor built, instead, they ,PDP,at the state level used a huge loan to build a white elephant Tinapa and Obudu cable car projects while the PDP at the centre then ,signed out Bakassi to Cameroon without tying this kind of project construction to demand from Cameroon in exchange.

God bless President Muhammadu Buhari. God bless HE Babatunde Fashola and all the patriots who conceived and executed this awesome project. God bless Nigeria. All the enemies of Nigeria will lose las las.

Congratulations to my brothers and sisters in Ekot-Mfum who will be greatly blessed to have this kind of huge project.
Congratulations to Nigeria and Cameroon. Thank you OP for sharing.

Can you give us your own quote?

Do you know how many bridges can be constructed with $35.9 million dollars in the United State? Crooks too full Africa!
That wasn't the issue here, the issue here was that it was stated in billions when it's actually million dollars. For your question yes it was inflated cost

Wake up and grow beyond the PdP / APC Narrative ...
Do you know what a billion is ?
When will you start seeing and saying things as they are not based on your PdP / APC filter ?

Who is the "US" you are referring to?
If you believe this crap is worth even a billion dollars then you need mental health care.
How much did Turkey use to construct the world's biggest airport? How much did China use to build the 3 gourges dam that has a capacity to generate 30,000Mw?
When you answer this i will provide you with my own quote. Bodoh!

Guy, haven't you realised by now that the Billion is an error and its actually million?

If you are so smart and so current with prices of projects globally, your intellect should have told you immediately that it's an error. Instead of all the argument tou are making here.

Even at US$ 35.9 million which is equivalent to N 14 billion, that 1.5km bridge is overpriced. Haba!

Nepal-India 1.5km bridge was estimated at US$24.8 million and you can bet the quality woukd be higher than ours.

https://www.worldhighways.com/wh8/news/nepal-india-bridge-project-planned

In South Africa it costs R 3.5 million per kilometer to construct roads that are much better than ours. That is approximately N 97.5 million. However in Nigeria, a 1.5 km road is contructed at over N 200 million!!!

Even in infrastructure developments, the country is still being stolen blind.

If you cannot land yourself into inflated contracts such as this one, my brother, you go suffer well well before you make it.
...
But if you get lucky, my brother, just one contract is enough to save the whole of your kindred from poverty forever.
