With the G8x Thinq, he can get more than 8hrs SOT since he is not a gamer.
LG phones especially the G and V series are flagship devices, are beasts in their own rights and can hold their own when placed side by side with other flagships like Samsung (I am not referring to those crappy A series that just carry the Samsung badge but are in the same class with Tecno and Infinix), iPhone, Google Pixel, One plus and Xiaomi.

3) Read and meditate on number 1 seven times.
4) Get all necessary protections you can for your new baby. Its a sleek phone and can easily drop. So protect and defend it with all the necessary ammunitions.
5) For a start, go for the G8. you can go for any of the G8 series.
6) LG has stopped manufacturing phones. Although they promised future updates and patches for the flagships, be aware that these patches and updates will stop in the nearest future.

Honestly i press my phone all through the day and my phone never die on me.
The processor, display, battery, speaker na Die
And the fast charging too it fast charge with an decent charger.
I used this phone together with Samsung S9 plus and i ended dumping the Samsung for it.

I'm beginning to doubt the swap with iphone self.
