We know what you are talking about and unfortunately you need to be referred to a neurologist. But only knowledgeable physicians would refer you to hyperbaric oxygen therapy for quicker solution of the injection paralysis which is already being aggravated.

Urgent action needs to be taken now to prevent local limb growth retardation or shortning.

We are HBOT PROVIDERS and are ready to help.
Thanks for your response. I will take him to hospital again

Green poop could signify different things. What is the consistency like? Is he breastfed or formula fed? Is it frothy or has mucus in it? The colour could signify diarrhoea, or an infection. Please let him see a paediatrician

You can also click the link to see what normal poo should look like in babies.

Hello mothers
Please my 19 months old boy has been limping his left leg for 2 weeks now, last week Monday I took him to teaching hospital to see a doctor, Dr said there is no cause for alarm once he can stand on it and walk and he can move his limbs.
But I'm getting worried because the feet is cold and getting slim than the other leg.
NB: He was given injection to treat malaria 5 days before the limping started.

Hello everyone.
I'm a FTM and I want to know the dos and donts within the first 1-3months after delivery.
I attend antenatal classes but I want to add to my knowledge from other experienced parents here.

Eg, cord cleaning, necessary baby clothes, weird things that are normal, right oils, things to avoid while bathing baby etc.

It's just going to be me and my husband. So, I need all the advise I can get.

Thank you.

Congratulations sis, join the ATP (Ask The Paediatrician) group on Facebook. It'll really help you in taking care of your baby and you can easily ask questions there too.

green poop sometimes means he is not eating well.
Ensure he eats well and full, pooing after every feeding if EBF is normal.

Pls take him to see a good doctor ASAP, is not normal for the feet getting slimmer than the other, cold ke. Pls do something quick. Who gave him the injection to treat malaria at his age? When there are good syrubs that does the magic.

If he pees alot, actually to me, its good. As for the cough and catarrh, for me, I use sheer butter for my kids, melt it, give him little to lick/drink. Rub some on his chest and nose,it works for me, I don't know for others and it was an old woman that taught me back then which I do use till date. I do use honey as well, it works like wonder, it clears cough. Give him to lick and also mix with his drinking water. Believe me it works. And Pls just be careful on the drugs you give him, he is still a very little baby and a delicate system too. I wish him quick recovery

He was already on drugs before I took him to hospital, honestly I'm regretting it. I've taken him to see Dr, and he was given drugs, he's getting better now. Thanks so much

Honey and children less than 1 yr is like Buhari and Ipob. They shouldn't be near each other. There's a thing called Botulism. Google it.

1. I'm not sure, maybe you should take him to see a paediatrician.
2. I think it's actually good that he pees a lot. He's taking in enough liquid.
3. Doctors usually advice that you leave cough and catarrh in newborn/infants to resolve on their own. Just avoid taking him close to anyone who has cough and catarrh. I beg you in the name of God, don't give honey or even Shea butter to drink. His digestive system is too delicate for such and it's very dangerous to give children below 1yr honey. It could be fatal.
My advice- take him to see a paediatrician

It's dangerous to give honey to kids who are less than a year. It causes botulism. You can read it up.

New mums in the house, are you looking for a sterilizer for your babies' feeding utensils? you can order Puritil sterilizing fluid on Jumia.

It sterilizes babies feeding utensils in just 30 minutes, no need for boiling anymore.

Link below:
https://www./catalog/?q=Puritil

Or search 'puritil' on jumia.
