It would have been worse than South Africa. You're only saying this because west Africans especially southern Nigerians were always prepared to attack the Bri:tish if the Brit:ish attacked them. And southern Nigerians of that era empowered each other. When the Brit:ish left Nigeria there was no University in Nigeria.

before the br:itish left Nigeria, the Br:itish did not build one university, our number of primary and secondary schools were very low, br:itish did not build
smooth roads all over Nigeria , no housing estates, no plans for clean water for communities, majority of the private companies where owned by the br:itish and they only gave Nigerians clerical work which is what the education system they gave us is meant to produce office assistants.

All the developments you see in Nigeria today from Abuja to lagos to calabar to Akwa-ibom to oyo to Enugu e.t.c are all built by Nigerians, our parents, our grand parents e.t.c the br:itish left Nigeria to rot. Everything you had and have the privilege of enjoying in Nigeria was and is through the hardwork of parents, grand parents, and other Nigerians.

This is the only true picture. Reason why we need to study undiluted history in Nigeria. In the 60s and early 70s we had devopment plan and our Govt built this country.

If we teach people this, patriotism can be fostered and we will all enjoy he country. If you fail to your children family history they will end up with assumptions, mostly false. Britain did nothing for Nigeria other than selfish merging of different ethnic groups and railway to transport goods from the North to the ports.

You books by authors who were influenced and most likely sponsored by e:uropeans...

If African Kingdoms conquered other African kingdoms most of the languages in Africa will have been extinct.... Please use your intelligence or brain when people conquer other people they impose and enforce their own culture on the people they conquered.

I don't care what you studied....

its common sense... I'm not responding again...

You don't hv facts bro
Even the bible talks about how the children of Israelites were taken as captives as slaves to Egypt, babylon and syria it has been like that since times of old

Lets end it rather would have been so happy you engage me with relevant literatures and facts.....

Had to tell you what i study, it's like me berating someone that read sciences saying what he spend years studying wasn't real.... alot of prof didnt spend years doing research and studys and here u dismissed their study with your common sense that can't accomodate diverse views even when you ve got no facts

I admire your engagement in other matters but in this i think good we end it

Fighting for our independence from the British was the best thing our founding fathers did and despite their numerous mistakes after that , I still feel they did the right thing.

Personally, I believe we were not suppose to get it right after independence, we will make mistakes and we will learn from it and get better. In the past, a coup would have happened after buhari shenanigans because past governments that weee overthrown didn't even do up to buhari but as a country, we lived through many coups to see that it doesn't work and we've learnt even the worse Democracy is better than the best military government.

If this country exists after buhari, I can assure you that we will learn from it as well and put more checks that will prevent a future Buhari type of government in future.

Also, we've lived through a civil war and we've learned our lesson from it that it's never a solution, despite the fact that there is enough reason for another civil war to happen today, but every same Nigeria no matter their ethnicity knows it is never a way.

It took America over a century to get their democracy straight, It took the British far more than that. Considering the age of most African countries, they are still toddlers learning to walk compared to Europeans that are seen as developed. We will get there too.

You're more ignorant on this than i thought
Can u prove that words there that the positions obama and harris enjoyed are birth right of black americanslet me remind u american traditionally belong to the red Indians the mexicans have close resemblance to this race the Caucasians and Negros u see in USA were all migrants the whites obviously came in from Netherlands and Britian then new york was formerly called new Amsterdam later changed to New york when the british bought the city and name it after Yorkshire the independence america got was to stop paying of tax to the british government many prisoners and others were sent to america and later made to pay tax to the british government i told this story to let u know that america is a free world with opportunities for anyone that is wise enough enough to harness it for their good

U are wrong to say white americans dont like picking people that are of black america descent

The average black america is lazy, driven by orgies and gangsterism and more u can't live in black communities in los Angeles wit your two eyes closed without gun shoots and rival cults clashes. The average white american will not deny u a position if you're competent irrespective of your skin color thats the reason so many Nigerians are doing well in the country with thousands in the health sector as doctors, nurses some in nasa others in legal and educational sectors.

Guy seriously this is childish of you. Football is mainly discussed here but from time to time especially when our national teams are inactive we talk about other things which is not deliberate but often dovetails from discussions about football or sport. Me and the guy already said we will stop derailing and take our talk to another thread but this your notice me act of mentioning my post is not on. Please from now on mind your business and don't quote me in the future.
