Google is everyone's friend. Try to befriend it:

Civic Holiday - Monday, August 2, 2021. It's one of the Canadian Holidays observed y IRCC.

lawfree638:

Today's current holiday doesn't affect IRCC.

IRCC is a national parastatal not provincial.

Good evening house.
I want to apply for a postgraduate program in Lambton college but I'm a bit confused with their requirements.
1 As a Nigerian, do I need to write any English language proficiency test as part of admission requirements?
2 Does Lambton college accept HND for a postgraduate program?

Your answer is needed please. Thanks.

Spectro:
Thank you everyone for the support and kind words. May we experience the grace of God.

I thought that before I leave this wonderful thread, I should drop something for you.

I am currently working on a project, and that project will be completed in the last week of August.

It's an E-learning Platform for primary school students and secondary school students.

Let's just say it's like home Lesson. There's no home Lesson in Canada. So your children can gain access to computerized home lessons on their tablets, phones and laptops. Video Lessons, computer notes, and Computer Based Tests for each topic. All subjects.

We all want to raise excellent children with awesome brains. So, I think this will be beneficial to all parents.

You can look up what this project is about on Instagram.

https://www.instagram.com/tklesson_global/

Please, follow Tklesson on Instagram, and when the computerized Lessons begin in September, you will get notifications on Instagram. It's just 20 dollars monthly. Your child will get academic result, cgpa, etc.,

Thank you all once again. Stay blessed.

Hello,

IRCC never requested for another LOA which was quite surprising... I'm actually still waiting for a LOA. I had to apply for another semester because the school does not have deferral option. I believe they will issue me a study permit at the border and at that point, they will use my new letter of LOA.

You could mention that you didn't put language barrier into consideration and how it's affecting your learning experience. Hello Nairaland grin grin

I do not know how to begin this post, but na God go help me.

First, I want to say a big Thank You to Vicky. I dunno your moniker but you know yourself. Thank You for helping reach out to the family here on my behalf. I really appreciate you for that!

Next I'll like to appreciate the entire Nairaland family for the show of love. Omohh e no easy. My heart is full of so much gratitude to every single one of you.

No need to make this a long post abeg undecided
Ending of April no funny for me atall
Robbed on April 25
Application denied on April 27.
It was even more painful as I had to view it on my PC screen. The thing just bold for my face. cry

Hehe
Regardless, I give all the glory to God. It was a really long wait, and it was worth every single second of it.
Thank You to everyone here who in one way or the other contributed to my application.

Here's my Timeline.

Got admitted to Uom to study International Business in October, 2020

Application Submitted - Dec 16
Biometrics completed - Dec 22
NSE Request Letter - Dec 24
Upfront Medicals. - March 24
Medicals Updated. - April 12
Letter of Refusal. - April 27

My application was processed via the normal route. I was denied based on Personal Assets blah blah, cos I know I finished them with my SOP godi. grin

I'm back now and willing to help as many as I can on this journey or lemme just say application grin
I'm willing to go through as many SOPs as I can.
I'm ready to answer as many questions as possible.
Let's all get involved in any little way we can.
For Charles Dickens says, "No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another"

My advice to everyone who's yet to apply or waiting for a decision?
Please do not be scared. I know it sounds impossible but on the long run you'll discover your fear and worry doesn't change anything.
If your application was denied, don't give up too. Keep refiring until you hit your target.

I wish everyone awaiting PPR good news in the shortest possible time.

Believe me when I say this..

It will end in Praises!

Omo my story long oo! But i'll just go straight to the point.

First time applicant, self sponsored although I finished with a first class in economics, I have a 10yr study gap so I wasn't sure how that played out. Going for Masters in Economics at UNB. I'm employed and also have a side business I registered last year. Previous travel to US and Turkey. I wrote GRE, applied and got admission myself but when it came to visa application my liver failed me. That was where Frank (God bless his soul) came to my rescue. Timeline:

Applied 22nd Apr
Vfs biometric 26th Apr
Eligibility & background check started 4th May (may have been earlier but after applying I didn't check the portal until this date)
Upfront Medical done 4th May
Medical E-Slip uploaded 6th May
Biometrics Updated 6th May (I had to email them a reminder)
Medical Passed 7th May
Ghost update 4th June
Sent renewed passport & unconditional acceptance letter via webform 8th June
Agreement prayer with husband when I noticed April applicants getting their decisions 16th June
Ghost update 16th June
BVL & PPR 21st June

Regarding ghost updates, I may have had more but I only check my portal once or max twice a week on average so I can't really say. Also I didn't pay school fees o, not even deposit. The Ijebu in me didn't let me part with my money before visa approval grin also my school didn't make it compulsory.

Document submitted
Transcripts
SOP
GRE
IELTS
MBS & regular account statement (First bank doesn't have MBS so I just submitted the regular statement and included introduction letter from the bank)
WAEC Certificate
Degree certificate
Employment letter
Introduction letter from employer
Study leave approval letter
Consent letter from my husband
We both indicated that my mum will be taking care of my kids in my absence
Husband's employment letter and work related documents
ID's of my parents and siblings

Hmm the waiting wasn't funny o especially when I see the type of document people submit here, at some point I felt I may not have submitted enough. I just told myself "las las if dem deny my application i'll just focus on my business''. But alas! God did it. Also special thanks to @Lekiboboe his posts really guided me when I was searching for graduate programs.

To all those still waiting, I wish you the very best, God willing it will end the praise.

signing out.

PS: If you dey go New Brunswick please hit me up make we reason one or two.
