My friend's redmi note 8 suddenly stopped receiving calls. The calls only come in form of flash via true caller. He put the sim in another phone and calls came through.

Same is happening to me.

I don't think that private has anything to do with that. But for private check your dailer settings.

As for the hearing blow air into your earpiece.

People are too quick to judge. No one is perfect and if you haven't met someone before who is being persecuted, I think one should be careful with your judgement as not all allegations are true while others are exaggerated.

One of my boss business phone, a Samsung A6 plus had issue and I have been the person taking it to Samsung repair center at Saka Tinubu whenever the screen need replacing. But this time around it wasn't the screen but the power button is damaged.

Samsung repair center diagnosed the problem and started telling me the phone doesn't cover their region of operation and besides they don't have the spare part needing replacement. Unknown to me that they are trying to reject the risk involved in opening and desembling such phone from the screen giving the chance of success is very slim. (All these while, like 3 times I've replaced the screen, they never told me that.) Like 5% chance of success.

Searched everywhere at Saka without success. That was when I remembered Repairguru. Called him and he promised to repair the power button.
Immediately I met him, he asked if I have not read the issue he's trying to resolve on nairaland, and I told him no, I haven't even though I was aware. But me being who I was and had never deal with him before, and putting into considerations his antecendence and refarrals, if he was shaddy, he wouldn't have lasted till now.
Gave him the phone and he was straight forward by telling me the risk involved.

After considering all available options and the fact that this phone and the data it carries is capable of fetching millions, I paid and the phone was fixed.

The guy was very humble and respectful. Please if you haven't had issue or dealing with him, do not join them to condem.

It is quite ironic that a criminal will be calling on God. He would have been struck dead if this was the old testament - according to Christians belief.

OK.
I believe the name calling is becoming very unbecoming.
I am not gaslighting your experience with repairguru. I am oblivious on what may have gone down between you guys.
I am saying that i have had a different experience with him.
I had a good experience with repairguru in fixing my LG G8.

If he was a scammer as you put it, he would have been called out a long time ago or something or he would have been having lots of negative reviews. he is always on the phone repair section giving advice and suggestions. He should have been called out, named and shamed
I have seen only 2 negative reviews on nairaland about him. if out of thousands we have only 2 negative reviews, i don't think it is really that bad. That's like a 0.000002% if my maths serves me right.
Like i posited earlier, i am not denying your experience in his hands but so far, my business relationship with him has not been a bad one and i think it is only right i speak out.

We should calm down with the way we put down people's businesses.
Some allegations may be true while others may be exaggerated or completely false altogether.
It is my wish that y'all sort out your differences like responsible men.

The difference is just three.

RN10 - SD 678, 48MP, Sony IMX 582 main camera, base storage 4/64GB RAM
RN10S - MediaTek Helio G95 and 64MP Samsung GW3 main camera, base storage 6/64GB RAM.

So make your pick.

Bros no vex oh

You are not active on this thread at all

Suddenly you show up.

It's very very suspicious. You're usually on the LG thread and not here Suddenly a repair guy has an issue and you materialize outta thin air.

Broooooooooooo... you're only helping to make the indicted guy look even more...well guilty.

Your point of view is very clear. In fact I enjoyed reading it better than the defence that the bros in question put up.

But still reason am, not one...guy see am oh. Not one, not two, not even three sef. Over four persons from different parts of the country who do not even know each other are saying the same thing.

And the guy in question is not even putting up a coherent and believable defense. You reason am na.

I like how you write. Very straight forward and respectful that why I took out time to respond.
