I applied for a study visa and was refused for several reasons which i am yet to fix. My partner was also offered admission to study in canada. He is about to apply for his study visa. Will my application affect the decision to be made on his?

Sure Mate! Bishop's University, Sherbrooke, Quebec. Masters Computer Science thesis-based. Applied May 19th, Biometrics June 1st, Medical July 5th. Waiting for SP ooo. CAQ was approved 6th June. They said they have mailed the hard copy to me but yet to receive it. However, i think that isn't a problem now since i have the approval letter. The admission office said if i we didn't get the hard copy we can contact to resend a new one while in Canada. It shall end in Praise oo

Since you are married why not do this .

He applies first, you stand in as one of his hometies. Once his visa is approved, he should apply for an open spousal work permit for you.

IRCC never requested for another LOA which was quite surprising... I'm actually still waiting for a LOA. I had to apply for another semester because the school does not have deferral option. I believe they will issue me a study permit at the border and at that point, they will use my new letter of LOA.

Please how can one findout visa office?

When Eligibility Assessment and Pre-assessment note is blank on your GCMS notes, it's an indication that your file has not been touched by an immigration officer at the Canadian embassy. The best approach to this situation is to keep sending emails and webforms to the responsible visa office.

CAQ approved May 8th but hard copy not received. Omo, the wait is depressing.
