genius43:Sorry to ask, but sir do you repair phone?? How do you understand the battery details? |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:13am On Aug 07, 2021 |
PATAlolade:Your network is your current number one enemy. If you two SIMs are on dual 4G, desist from it. |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:14am On Aug 07, 2021 |
tellsblinks:It is not rocket science. I am not a phone repairer, what I am is left for you to find out. |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by tellsblinks(m): 10:15am On Aug 07, 2021 |
genius43:Wow, you shaaa get bad mouth ohh Make I jejely de on my own |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by PATAlolade(m): 10:17am On Aug 07, 2021 |
genius43:Okay. What about the idle battery draining? |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:18am On Aug 07, 2021 |
tellsblinks:The question is quite vague because according to your analogy only a phone repairer should know how to read battery details. It is a wrong outlook. |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:19am On Aug 07, 2021 |
PATAlolade:Your phone doesn't stop sending and receiving signal when it is idle. So bad network is bad network, Idle or active. If you feel it is a software problem, you do a factory reset and maintain status quo and see if it will change. |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by tellsblinks(m): 10:21am On Aug 07, 2021 |
genius43:I'm sorry boss, in my eyes it was too complex to understand. All I see is lines and spaces here and there. Like a graph no details just patterns. Ranking is better to understand than details. I was hoping I'll get more clarification on how you're able to do it. I know experience too is also a factor. |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 10:30am On Aug 07, 2021 |
tellsblinks:Look at the percentage and the graph drop in percentage then compare it with standby time and Screen On Time(I don't always use this to base my judgement because I can't tell the level of brightness you use your phone except stated). Now if there is a sharp drop then there is visible drain as compared to a steady drop in the graph. Battery Usage varies and in as much as people try to blame software they ignore certain factors such as Network strength and stability. |

Mustiboy:You're right. Nevertheless, I believe to answer a question is a matter of choice. Instead of being aggressive or rude, one can ignore a question. You can still be doing a charity work and be wrong. It all depends on how you do it. PEACE |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Mustiboy(m): 1:10pm On Aug 07, 2021 |
PATAlolade:Wawu! 80% gone in less than three hours. Which phone be that? Check the apps you installed last. Some may be responsible. A bad network drains battery but not to that extent. You might want to backup your important files and do a factory reset. If this doesn't help, it means your battery don jogodo. |

| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Osyxcel(m): 4:03pm On Aug 07, 2021 |
PATAlolade:That your battery from around 45% to 22% is what is called Nosedive. Bad Network + Gaming + Music. But still, the battery stat is startling |

chairmanawe:It is same problem with most Chinese Version phones running Chinese ROM. They are implementing their earlier circular of removing GMS support from the above devices. |

Mustiboy:I just bought the battery. |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 4:50pm On Aug 07, 2021 |
PATAlolade:Who did you buy from? |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by PATAlolade(m): 4:59pm On Aug 07, 2021 |
genius43:It kinda of craziness, I couldn't found Xiaomi battery, the one I found was 3000mah with different connector position. So, one engineer later said that Huawei of the same capacity could work, at first it couldn't power on, the phone will die after reaching MIUI logo nor could the charging increase, so he used the damage battery board for the Huawei one and it works. |
| Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 5:09pm On Aug 07, 2021 |
PATAlolade:You see now, if I didn't ask you hid this part from your narrative Na you do yourself. Following the mouth of a roadside repairer when there are sellers on this Platform selling the exact battery for your device. Be careful not to spoil your device. |
