GCMS just dropped. I don't know why my application was regarded as NON NSE. I provided the required documents when I submitted and never got a request. It doesn't matter anymore.

I am expecting the return of my stamped passport from VFS before weekend. Counterfoil and other letter is yet to drop.

My best wishes to those awaiting PPR.

There is still hope Bro.

What mistake is this? Was it on the form?

I mistakenly added 10,000cad to my tuition,
My program is a two year program with 16k as first year fee as indicated on my LOA. So i put 26k on my form. Even though my availabile funds is about 37k

for the ircc form yes!!!

Good evening everyone. I just got a new passport because the old one is close to expiration. Is it necessary for me to send the new one to IRCC or wait for PPR.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Oyesquare10: 8:54pm On Aug 10, 2021
Please is the Junior VO not supposed to make statement (concern) in the pre assessment notes or why are the notes coming blank if it has been passed from one VO to another?

bollybeejay:

Please let's be aware that recommend interview does not show a positive sign for approval. Recommend interview just simply means an officer deemed u fit to be passed for eligibility review but is unsure weather you meet the eligibility requirements and needs a more superior officer to validate or subvert the decision so at recommend interview stage your likelihood of refusal is as high as your likelihood for approval so it's 50 50 chances , I have seen people with recommend interview eligibility come back with refusal from my vast experience. Let's just keep the hope alive
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Oyesquare10: 8:55pm On Aug 10, 2021
Is the Junior VO not supposed to state the clarification in the pre assessment Notes?

makano:
This is a 50-50 chance though..

This simply means a Junior VO needs clarification from a Senior VO as regards a final decision on your application..

Whatever the senior Visa Officer concludes on your application will determine your final decision, either Approval or Refusal..

But be Positive...

PEACE

Thanks. Please how do I show reasonable source for the second year? Is it source of income like salary account statement ? Secondly is it too much to use 5 diff statement of accounts? I have a co sponsor and I want to use our accounts and they are 5 in all. Salary accounts for both me and my spouse and then our savings accounts.
Also for funds available when filling the imm1294 form and the tuition, do I fill the total fees for the 2 years or just first year?

Obiag:

You need to show pof for your tuition and cost of living for the fist year and a very reliable source of fund for the 2nd year.

All the best.

A Preassessment Note is not compulsory on any GCMS note. However, an Assessment Note is compulsory at the end of an application - either approved or refused. You can quote me anywhere. wink

Based on the few notes I have seen (at least, a handful), some of them don't have any preassessment notes even after some key documents have been verified (check verification section). When you see eligibility as "recommend interview" or "recommend pass" and there is no preassessment note, the case analyst has some concerns they cannot write down due to discriminatory reasons (which is usually redacted in the note alongside some classified info in Pg 31 -56 - Quoted as S(16) or S(16)c - All these codes has key meanings ). These could be concerns as age difference, health issues, a group application, previous marriages, etc. This is usually not "too" serious but heads up for the "said" senior V.O.

At the end of the application, if you order another note what you will find is an assessment note, not a preassessment note.

I hope this clarifies some positions.

God will help us. I don't know whether what is happening now is understandable to anybody.
Did it happen like this last year or other years? Like, they stopped issuing PPRs a month ahead of Semester?
Or after quota is reached for each country?

Showing the source of funds for the second year is as important as showing available funds. This is the point where V.Os will state on their assessment note that the applicant or applicant's family seems not to be established at home (Some applicants will wonder why after they submitted enough funds). These can be done in any of the below but not limited to;

1. Proving by explanation and showing that salary income is stable as employment is secured and safe.
2. Established business
3. Cash gift deed.
4. Scholarship
5. Real estate - Rental agreement or sales of a property.
6. etc. cheesy

On the number of statements, if you can provide an adequate explanation of all the statements and how the funds came to be, then you are good to go! More preferably, get an MBS for all statements will help the V.O trust your statement validity. The number 1 reason these guys have with Nigeria's statement, especially FBN, they don't trust the validity (First bank was just got onboarded on MBS recently).

I hope the above is helpful.

Shalom!!

Nwanne, I don't know. Honestly. This is when the feedback needs to be express.

Nairobi VAC needs overhauling - at least to my mind.

Your "brought forward date" is almost here. I dey check calendar for you.

It depends on the MP you send your complains to, the content of your message to the MP(maybe prolly you didn't submit your full details to the MP) and also your province.

As we know there are many MPS or few MPs attached to every province.. Some will give your application urgent attention while some won't.. That is why it is advised as an applicant you understudy the MP that gives urgent attention to applicants complains, don't just send ur complains to any just MP..

In my 4 years on this thread, I can say applicants whose applications are way over the processing time that sent mails to an MP get quick response than those that don't send...

Even in this Part 19 we know of some applicants that got their final decisions of their application after sending their provincial MPs mails..
Please kindly send me a sample of letter one can send to MP for one's application status.

I am strongly hoping on God for that day.
But I will not tell you lie, this lack of PPR is really worrisome to me and is threatening my hope on that 13th August.
