Okocha, Nigeria most overrated player. His total career goals not up to 40 goals and 40 assist including for his country and clubs all together as an attacking midfielder wearing no10 like Messi. He tried his best sha

Even as he is joking about it but it is quite the truth. Jay Jay would have been one of the highest paid players in the world if he was still playing and at his prime

omo to see players like jj again would be very hard. that generation of players such as himself and ronaldinho them, they might not come again as what we see these days are players that learnt how to play football not the ones that were born with it..

Okocha is all about tricks with a negligible number of end results. He is in the same bracket as present day Ben Arfa, Isco, Ndombele, Maxim of Newcastle and the rest.

He is only held in high regards by Nigerians out of sentiment.

Before you come to my mention and start countering with emotions, ask yourself......

As an attacking midfielder with almost non existent defensive responsibilities, how many goals or assists did he clock during his career? And how many high ranked clubs ever placed a bid for his services?
Haters that never achieved anything in their lives have arrived.

Africans and money consciousness, dribbling without sense with his funny kind of leg over okocha tried but he is just adverage that d truth. if you watch messi he dribble when the time arises, pass when the time arises, chip when he is in the right position go and watch messi in the days of xavi and inestia. This guy play football to perfection who could have taught they can scored 50 goals a season playing deep, he redefine football as a player you can't hate messi and love football he deserve the money he is getting. The painful thing is that there is no player coming up who operate deep and still create chances and still dribble and score magnifecent goals I taught salah was like messi until I watch closely and find out they can never be messi them never born that persoooon!. As for ronaldo mbappe plays similar but I doubt if he close to ronaldo work rate and free kicks

you are wrong bro,.... hen you talk about entertainment football Okocha is not just an average football but a legend yes we make mistake in choosing our career part sometime

Time play a major role in this matter the richest man 1990 will go into hiding when comparing to this day richest man in the world,

imagine in england selling a player with no trophy record for 80 to 90 million but want to buy a player with almost all the famous cup in the world with just half of that ..... everything end up to be timing

during the okocha time people play with passion but now people play for money ..... highest bider... if messy do the same mistake okocha made we might have forget about him.... where is di maria today .... ronaldinho nko...

all naa time and chance bro

Messi is the wealthiest footballer in the globe and may be a billionaire

There is something about abroad that the poor don't know

1. Davido was born in america, he returned to nigeria to start music
2. Tiwa savage had to relocate to nigeria too
3. Don jazzy can afford to relocate to abroad, but he haven't
4. Reno omokiri was born abroad, but he came down here to be SA
5. Obi cubana can afford to relocate, yet he is yet to do so
6. Even dabgote
7. Maduka of anambra state is a a medical doctor in america, when he wanted to become a governor of a state, he never considered to be governor in america. He came back to Nigeria to become governor.
8. Niw Okocha too

Bottomline: Nigeria is not working, only for the poor. The rich is very ok with the cointry

Your greed (or would I say ignorance) too did not help you. You never engaged the services of an agent throughout your career. Were you not playing at the same time as the likes of Ronaldo De Lima, Zidane and co

The part in bold is not true. Okocha had agents during his career. His agent when he was at PSG was Milan Radovanovic.

I don't agree with you. Okocha is no doubt very skillful but he had two weaknesses that affected his game;

1. Speed. He is not very fast with the ball while on motion unlike Messi, Maradona, Pele and Ronaldo.

2. Poor goal scoring abilities. His total career goals is too low. Please check his record to confirm.

Overage killed the career of many of these players. You can not feign age forever. It will show.

Imagine Kanu is now 45!
