I need help guys ! I applied for UK Tourist visas in 2018 while I was married but I indicated Single suggested by my agent then since my wife was in the US with my daughter and US denied me visas more than 5 times.

I’m bout to apply as a dependent along with my wife as the main applicant. I’m drained at this stage and I don’t know what to do. Will this affect our visas application cause our marriage certificate shows we were married truly before I applied for the visit visas.

I think it's best to call late into the night, I called them a little after 12am to find out if a decision has been made on my application and my 1k credit burnt because there was no agent available

I then waited till about 12:30 am and tried (loaded another 1k) again, this time I was connected to an agent in less than a minute after the normal auto formalities.

Some schools may not issue CAS to begin with.

Every school's immigration and compliance team will be able to advise further. Talk to the school rep too.

I think you should try first. I applied where I had work experience (Marketing). Your work experience is what will cushion the weak grade. Please note that a referral from your place of work will go a long way too so I don't know exactly how that will work seeing as you've been out of a job for years now.

Those people are pretty flexible though. You never know until you try. So try. All the best

From what I saw on their website, you are wrong. The amount can be held in the main applicant’s account or that of the dependent partner, when applying separately.

They do.
You will need to have an appointment to go there on Saturdays, though.

Please I need urgent reply, so my friend wants to apply for her student visa, but she said they are telling her she must apply with her hubby, not just the children alone, that they won't give them visa, if she applies with just her 2 kids. I told her that is false. Please you guys should correct me if I am wrong oo.

Please as any one gotten their student visa just applying with the children alone.

Can you please read page 1 of this thread so you can see Who can sponsor you and who cannot.

You need an attested court document stating he is your legal guardian. He is not your parent.

A transfer to your account is better.

Honestly, It's tricky. Since you are not the main applicant, it might help.

Consider allowing your wife and your child apply first and when it's out, you can send in your own application.

The agent who gave you that earlier advice did you in. Marital status is a good reason for granting visiting visa, cos you demonstrate ties to your country.
