I already gave a modified reply. Taliban was in government before the US took over to crush terrorist threat. They trained Afghan forces too for years.
It's more of a lesson to those of us in Nigeria who keep shouting US, UK, BBC,CNN etc. whenever the government tramples on us that we are on our own.
