Screenshot 2 pages for each month, e.g January first week and last week. Make sure the date are visible in the screenshot.

If you have photogrid app on your phone use grid to combine your screenshots in one photo for example you can combine Jan, Feb, March screenshot chats in one photo that's 6 screenshot for 3 months of chat in 1 photo, if you do this you successfully combine 1 year of constant conversation in just 4 photos with each photo containing 3 months correspondence with your fiance.

This is how i did mine and our application was approved.

I greet the house. I would like to know please after you've done your police character report do you submit the form that has your fingerprint in it together with the police character certificate at the US embassy during the interview or you only need to present the police character certificate? Im asking because I don't live in Nigeria and will use a 3rd party to do the PCC so I'll have to send a scanned copy of my fingerprints to Alagbon, now if I must submit the form i thumbprint my fingerprint on together with the original pcc certificate will the embassy accept the scanned copy of the form that has my fingerprint ?

Don't send a scanned copy then. Ship the original pages to your contact, (They can send the form to you via electronic means). It is an expensive affair!

Hello everyone, I need your help pls and it's very urgent.
1. Can I have a sample of Affidavit for fiancee visa (Affidavit that says I'll get married to my fiance within three months of getting to USA) How does it look like pls. Has anyone done it successfully before?
2. How long does the affidavit valid before the application?
4. In which of the police stations can I get police report in Ilorin?
5. For how long does it valid?
Thanks for your usual help.

2. Once submitted the affidavit is valid forever, if you hold on to it and USCIS changes the form then it has an expiration date. The data submitted with the application must be valid upon submission.

4. A US police certificate is not required, any other police certificate must come from this list: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country.html

5. Police certificates are valid for 1 year.

She should apply for a visa to Nigeria on her US passport.

I have not applied for a Nigerian visa before so I don't know the process. You should call the Nigerian embassy in New York, DC or Atlanta for information. I doubt it can be done entirely online.

I think it is best to get the visa before travelling.

If she’s a Nigerian, she can apply for ETC (emergency travel certificate) and that will be okay for her to travel down to Nigeria with her expired passport

Yes it is very possible. Make sure you attach copies of the boarding passes (for both), hotel reservations receipt, visas (as applicable), etc. It's the same documents you would attach if he/she visited Nigeria. The only difference is that you have to attach for both as available. You will also need some writing or verbal explanations why you had to meet outside Nigeria.

before covid K1 process takes approximately six months to complete but after the pandemic hit, there are massive backlogs of cases, i think the process takes between 10-13 months now, hopefully they might get back to precovid level soon. All the best to you

Thanks so much for your reply................The issue i was asking is that i heard since Nigeria is a high fraud country for K visas....i heard it is very hard for the Us consulate in lagos to grant K1 visas on a one time visit..................and also when there are no pictures with families involved due to the 3rd country meeting

Not everything you read is true. I was granted on a "one-time" visit and so many other people on this forum. The burden of proof lies on you to prove the bona fide of your relationship. Multiple visits does not improve your chances if you can't substantially prove the bona fide of your relationship.
And like I earlier wrote, meeting outside Nigeria does not limit your chances..all you need to do is to show in writing or verbal why you had to meet wherever you met.. that's it.

Happy new month! I greet the house.
We just received message from nvc stating they received our application and a case number has been created and it it take weeks for them to send the application to the embassy. Can I go ahead and fill in the form ds 160 now?

yes please, this means your case is on its way to US embassy in Lagos, you can track your case on https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ with your case number, you can also pay your visa fee of $265 after which you create an account and book your interview date on https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ kindly note that you may likely get a date for next year but ensure you select the next available date you see on the portal, all the best to you

Correct but a lot of cases are still hanging at NVC now and they ship cases to the embassy twice a month, but they are prioritizing in the order that they received the applications from uscis so they are currently on September 2020 i.e, as of now they are shipping cases they received September 2020.

I just pray all the backlogs are reduced soon. They are trying.
