The caseworker should have contacted UI to clarify his/her suspicion. My opinion though.

Be hopeful, it will end well.

Go for AR and attach the original certificate with a letter from your university to support this...i do understand that getting such letter from university in Nigeria can take ages and costly sometime. If you are unable to get a letter still go ahead with the AR.

You should not apply again at this time. It will fetch you a 10 year ban. Secondly, they may involve prosecution.

Document Verification is not limited to Bank Statement alone. So you may want to consider doing an Administrative review.

However, you need to be sure your certificate is original. Contact the Student Adminstration office (exams and Record), sort it out there first and be sure they didn't issue you a fake document,

Lastly you might consider using an independent evaluation service and attach the result of the evaluation to your AR. Consider using UK NARIC.

It will be painfully slow. The only option you have is an Administrative Review of that decision. You need to take that serious so that this decision won't blight your chances at another time or at other embassies. Forgery is a serious immigration offense.

I received a refusal letter from Pretoria today.

Reason they give is that my certificate that i used 5 years to obtain is not genuine.

"You have submitted a 2008 Bachelor of Science degree certificate in your name
which was purportedly issued by the University of Ibadan. However examination
of the document by a forgery officer have led to the conclusion that this
document is not genuine. These checks have been documented in a document
examination report (DER) held by our office. I am satisfied that you have
submitted a false document in support of your application. Your application is
therefore refused under Paragraph 9.7.1 (a) of the Immigration Rules."

You won't be allowed to submit the old passport.
The best you can do is to scan visas from the old passport and upload them. Again, it is not compulsory.

I was a regular full time student in the school. They did not even check anything with school anyway.

They are just confused. How can they say they have done checks on scan copy of a document and conclude it is not genuine. It is not the paper certificate they checked o.

You are so strong sha. You are answering everyone's question so calmly.

So what I think is that these people have a database of previous certificates submitted by graduates of certain schools and they just compare certificates with each other to confirm authenticity.

Have you ever compared your certificate with that of another UI graduate...if you have not kindly do so or reach out to your school ASAP....this is just my opinion. I hope it helps.

I got there by 3:55am today and I was No.26 on the list.... Honestly, my shock was shocked�
Anyways, I was lucky cz it was well coordinated and I was done before 12pm.

Others days might be fair, but I'll say if it's walk-in, pls go very early.

You might be asked some questions and you might not be questioned at all. This is at the discretion of the entry clearance officer.

Secondly, it is mandatory we pay for a day 2 and day 8 Covid 19 test. This costs between £70 and £119.

Upon doing this, you must fill a passenger locator form 48hours before your flight and on this form you must include the details of the day 2 and the day 8 tests you must have paid for earlier.

I hope this is clear.

If you intend to do walk in tomorrow make sure are there by 5am if possible 4am. You might be lucky to still do biometrics on the same day if the list is well coordinated or you go there tomorrow by 12pm or 1pm to write down the last 4 digits of your application number which Starts with GWF to enable you do biometrics on Wednesday.

Gbam!!! I can see where the complications came in from. Please visit UI with the original and let them write a letter of originality if there is anything like that. That will support the AR and if u have some colleagues from ur department that can also give u are a copy of their own certificate. I look for the graduation list and photos....bombard them with all proof u have my brother!!!! I am so angry in the spirit...be STRONG Bro!!!!

Baba your name is hope, please be hopeful it will turn around in your favour, soon the sleepy caseworker will suddenly realise his errors. This is a blatant error from him, just remember to cry to God on this while you prepare your AR. It's painful but God will intervene in Jesus name.

This is why I take prayers more seriously regarding any of my visa applications I am not physically present because you never can tell how one oloriburuku somebody will misinterpret something someone has labour to achieve for years. OmG, I feel like slapping somebody. That was how the home office now sent a survey mail to me on their services...I would have hit them hard but because I got my visa I piled low. It's going to be good news bro. Cheers.
