Antwerp have registered new signing Alhassan Yusuf for their UEFA Europa League campaign, which gets underway Thursday at Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia.

Alhassan has impressed in his first two games for Belgian club Antwerp, who have shown their ambitions by the signing of Belgium international Radja Nainggolan.

Nainggolan’s arrival has stepped up competition for places in midfield.

Alhassan, 21, will come face-to-face with fellow Nigeria star Shehu Abdullahi in Thursday’s Europa League clash in Cyprus.

The midfielder made his Europa League debut with IFK Goteborg

Nice great way to win the fans over.

Have to say I'm quite surprised clubs having been falling over themselves to sign Onuachu. To score 30+ goals in a decent league like the one in Belgium is no joke.

Good that Dessers is taking his playing time seriously and seeking options.

TheLoneCitizen:
Onyekuru will debut his red hair on Thursday. Olympiakos are helping him conceal it to surprise the home fans. No picture yet.

As he warned last season, Dessers is in talks with a Spanish club over a potential move.
If Onuachu is not offloaded before a certain date, advanced negotiations will start. Dessers doesn't want to play backup for two consecutive seasons.

People bear that name not only in Nigeria but also in Benin, Togo, Guinea, Uganda, and not forgetting burkina faso. A lot of people bear Kanu in Sierra Leone and have no ancestral root in Nigeria.

Are we not Super Eagles again What's there to fear

If possible they should include Senegal, and let the top 3 qualified

This is not a crisis in my opinion.

Theo Bongonda, Onuachu's teammate who produced 28 goals last season is another victim of covid-hit market.

The club promised him a move this summer, but despite his young age, EU citizenship and ability to score from distance, only Russian clubs have bidded for him. However many others are interested.

Lyon bidded for Onuachu, but majority of the offer was in performance add-ons, West Ham are still interested as Braithwaite rejected them.

Maja - back injury. It is clear that both parties wants to move on. Bordeaux want to cash in, Maja is homesick.

Ayomide Abraham Marcus in advanced negotiations to move away from Feirense. Don't know the club yet.

Those still not satisfied with Ndidi's NT team performance are those who don't pay attention to football detail. Especially in midfield. Either They're waiting for him to score a goal/assist or TheSuperNerd to give them stats on how many tackles he made and English football analysts to start taking about his NT performance. As long as all this things are not available, they'll never be satisfied.

Last friendly, I was complaining about Marcus awareness, only to come here and see people praising him for handling and dribbling around with the ball.

I wonder o then some random official will then give a 20-25 minute speech nobody gives a damn about.

Plus they should tone down the musical/cultural performances. If we want to watch traditional dances we know were to go watch them definitely not at draws for a football tournament.
